This is great! How long before shepherds start setting up twitter accounts for them?

Re:Japan invents invisibility cloak? on Sunday January 15, 2012 @01:54PM (#3467873)
Not quite what I was hoping for in invisibility, but augmented reality FTW!
Re:Ask HN: Reverse phone lookup API on Thursday January 12, 2012 @10:33PM (#3459060)
A quick Google search brings up Whitepages.com http://developer.whitepages.com/docs

You should have better luck asking questions like this at StackOverflow.com http://stackoverflow.com/search?q=%5Bapi%5D+reverse+lookup

OK, I figured it out. It was working but I needed to use the arrow keys and the mouse to move to find the right view. If you are too far away the land disappears.

I'm using Chrome 12.0.742.53 and I have tried this both locally and through a webserver and all I am getting is loading.
That was amazing! It looks like youtube is where the real reality tv is.
Re:Reel - a jQuery plugin that provides a 360° views on Sunday April 24, 2011 @01:03AM (#2478320)
This looks awesome! I hope it works as well on mobile devices as it does in the browser.
I would use this if it didn't have the twitter/fb limitation. I hate being forced to have twitter and facebook to get into other websites. The UI looks excellent though, good work!
Re:Show HN: made a html5 game, polished it many many times on Saturday April 16, 2011 @11:31AM (#2454115)
I have been looking for a good alternative to impactjs too. The one that I have been playing with is called Easel.js - http://easeljs.com/
Re:Invites for a beta: twy.st on Wednesday March 16, 2011 @08:21PM (#2334557)
I'm wondering the same thing. It looks like an email harvesting page to me (?)
Re:For a good laugh: How can I edit Internet speed? on Wednesday February 16, 2011 @11:38AM (#2227056)
It appears to have been removed. What did it say?
It is hard to say. It seems like some of the frameworks, for example jQuery, are making it easier for people to start using javascript, but could also be limiting the extent that they are actually learning javascript.
This looks interesting, but it could really use a screen shot to better explain what it is going to do.
Re:ASK NH: how to build GUI in python. on Sunday January 16, 2011 @09:46AM (#2109404)
Maybe this will help: http://stackoverflow.com/search?q=python+gui

I have heard that this book is good, but I haven't read it yet. http://www.amazon.com/Rapid-GUI-Programming-Python-ebook/dp/...

Re:Ask HN: How is grooveshark built? on Tuesday January 11, 2011 @07:29PM (#2094286)
Great links!! I have my own music app that I'm building for personal use. Here is a jQuery plugin you might want to check out for the player: http://www.jplayer.org/
Re:Brand new URL Shortner for your convenience on Tuesday January 11, 2011 @05:14PM (#2093806)
Great interface! It is very simple.
Re:Show HN: Clip War on Tuesday January 11, 2011 @05:10PM (#2093791)
It looks like the clip should always be random since it will be the last clip that someone chose to post. I don't like it that this site requires you to use a facebook id but, that is probably a good way to control a site like this.
I just kept thinking of this: http://xkcd.com/747/
Re:Show HN: The Infinite Maze - collaborative maze drawing on Monday January 10, 2011 @10:41AM (#2088735)
Neat idea! I love how the map is user generated. You should add a point system to it somehow.

Could you point me in the right direction for beginning to create a full screen javascript webapp like that?
