I was looking for remote access software to help family with their PC and came across RustDesk(https://rustdesk.com/) but it needs a server. Found out it can work without a server if you have Tailscale installed. No fees for any of this and works on many platforms.

It uses a heavily obfuscated JavaScript file written with NodeJS that remains completely undetectable by signature-based defenses. And this one isn’t just targeting Mac users either; Windows and Linux environments are also at risk.

For (English only) speech-to-text, NVIDIA's Parakeet-V2 is significantly faster than Whisper and I found it to be more accurate.
