Show HN: A vintage-style website about ESP8266 code snippets

https://esp8266code.com/

Hi all!I've been lurking HN for a while, and this time I'd like to give something back to this awesome community :)I'm Michele, and I'm just another Software Engineer. I recently felt in love with micro-controller programming, as I started building tools interacting with my home-automation systems (mainly to optimize energy consumption by getting and processing data from / to photovoltaic...

Could you elaborate more on your niche websites? Are those blogs or web-scraped content?

Re:Consider SQLite on Friday December 31, 2021 @05:52AM (#29746782)
I've recently used SQLite for my personal project rigfoot.com

It's a "read only" and small website (at least for now), with just a bunch of daily visitors, a perfect use case for SQLite.

Funny thing is that in my case the database it's so small that it's pushed directly on the repo.

Especially for startups and little projects, SQLite is your best friend.

Hey thanks a lot!

What do you mean by "sort by function"? Like a list of guitar types?

The stack thing is definitely interesting and it's something just put in my notes. Would you like to see stack belonging to famous artists? Or by music genre for instance?

Are you also considering non-US applications? Thanks.
Thanks so much, we are already discussing what can be done :)
Thanks! We'll add a link on the website
Nope, we put "packer" in it because we liked the sound :)
Hi, thanks for your feedback. I didn't know that Pinterest allows developers to create their own plugins. Could you kindly describe me how Onion Packer could take advantage of it? Thanks :)
Hi and thanks for your comment. When designing Onion Packer we focused on the designer need of: - quickly finding the right texture / image - have a fast way to preview it on a 3D model

You mentioned bumps, which is something that is in our roadmap (3D preview, together with diffuse textures).

We are looking for precious feedbacks and testers, since we are in the initial phase. If you have some good suggestions it is very easy that it will be considered. Onion Packer wants to take the direction that its users suggest it to go :)

Give it a try, it's totally free.
