Agreed. I saw the announcement and had an inkling of the excitement I got the first time I tried Crystal, years ago. I remembered how exciting new languages were to learn, and putz around with.

Then I remembered I could open [coding agent of choice] and it'd nearly oneshot whatever I would want to try in Crystal. I got a little disheartened.

Some languages for me were never meant to be 'used in production', but were a creative & learning space instead.

Hey, at least you know they're a real person.

Actually right up my alley. I have many frustrations and reservations against the current offerings. Super excited to see a new player enter the field
Or, he's 'whimsical' and child-like. Someone that may not have been able to be a child when they were young.

Who knows though; is up for interpretation.

I had this thought about the years ago. While I'm not a vet, I have grown up and live in the Hampton Roads area - plenty of vets I know locally.

If you ever need assistance on anything, I'd love a way to reach out and help any way I can.

Small bit I noticed: when signing up you can import from goodreads or story graph.

Its probably my device specifically, but the way the screen rendered, it wasn't immediately obvious I could scroll to see a skip button

Ya. This is rampant in the gaming industry. The industry is surprisingly one of the most toxic to work in IMO. At least from a consumer communication perspective. It is actually wild to think there are individuals out there that think and act this way
Took the vacation time, but fixed, haha
Hey there. Implementation was in haste and admittedly I didn’t test too many patterns. Was a fun little toy though.

I’ll glance over the logic and see what is amiss as I have time.

Happy Holidays!

I guess shameless plug, but:

I work at and helped start (though through bifurcation) a startup that focuses on this sort of thing. Might be worth a check: https://userwise.io

I will admit we’d be a sort of overkill for just notification services, but the other features we offer on top may also interest you

One-liner to remove all files from Git LFS. Because mistakes happen.

I could be wrong, but I’m thinking they meant CSS.

As a consumer (SO’s perspective) even as a PS-biased player, she feels as if the Xbox 360’s naming was enough to potentially sway her.

Maybe there’s a reason, even if we’re not fans.
