Natural rights belong to individuals, not states. Iran is a government; governments hold powers, not inalienable rights. The analogy collapses before reaching the question of nuclear weapons.
From the murderer's text messages:

> Roommate: Why?

> Robinson: Why did I do it?

> Roommate: Yeah

> Robinson: I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can't be negotiated out.

Besides everyone around him testifying that he'd been left-wing ever since dropping out of college, his admission that he found Charlie's relatively moderate speech "hateful" strongly suggests the murderer was quite far to the left.

This isn't a culture argument or even a sound/good argument for anything. Americans are just wealthier and you can't compare like that.

When you compare groups of students within the same country and adjust for both household income and intelligence you find that (again, even within the same intelligence brackets and income levels) some ethnic groups simply study more while others spend more time on things like unprovoked violence.

Very cool. I tried the web version last week.
Re:AI tooling must be disclosed for contributions on Monday August 25, 2025 @01:24PM (#45016312)
Half the planet is more AI-positive than the US. Something like only 4% of Chinese people are concerned about AI while around half of Americans are concerned about AI.

Many jurisdictions outlaw sharing but not copying. Downloading is legal in those places but publishing is not.
Re:The warning signs the AI bubble is about to burst on Monday August 25, 2025 @01:05PM (#45016071)
If you believe their earnings will continue increase at the same rate for next two years then it's more like getting in early on a P/E under 15. No bubble, just solid growth expectations.
According to these stats there's around 10% fewer daily likers than last September and 30% fewer daily posters. Bluesky is dead lol.
Palantir has an autonomous weapons command and control product in partnership with Anduril and other weapons manufacturers. They aren't just intelligence.

The still is not transformative but the model reproducing it is obviously transformative. Other general purpose tools can be used to infringe and yet are non-infringing as well.
YES 100%, and severely disabled too.
What makes you say that?
Re:The Collapse of GPT on Saturday May 17, 2025 @03:10AM (#44012579)
Are you meaning to imply AI generated material is like "wrong figures?"
So, infinite context length by making it compute bound instead of memory bound. Curious how much longer this takes to run and when it makes sense to use vs RAG.
Nordic countries are made of homogeneous populations whose ancestors somewhat uniquely developed prosocial long term planning preferences to survive harsh winters thanks to natural selection.

Nordic equality is as natural as the inequality we see everywhere else.

Sounds like you're trying to solve a byzantine generals problem.
Banks mostly deal in stablecoin which tend to be reversible, freezable, etc by court order since they're permissioned not permissionless.
Re:Meta pirated at least 101 of my books, and others on Sunday March 23, 2025 @05:25PM (#43456035)
Obtaining copies of pirated works is not infringement. Unauthorized sharing is infringement but being on the receiving end of sharing is not (even if one is an active participant).

>The problem with all of these AI specific workflow engines is they are not durable, so they are process local, suffer crashes, cannot resume, don't have good visibility or distribution, etc. They often only allow limited orchestration instead of code freedom, only one language, etc

So what's the solution?

Re:SEC Declares Memecoins Are Not Subject to Oversight on Friday February 28, 2025 @12:42PM (#43208304)
It's used to transfer currency between accounts on fundamentally transparent ledgers. Barely any crypto involves anonymous anything.
OpenAI and SaaS LLMs aren't open source.*

So they aren't supported because this project is to replace closed-source AI solutions. Apple Intelligence already uses OpenAI. If you want closed-source AI then just use Apple Intelligence.

How does this have nearly 500 points and zero comments?
I just tested an app that let's you pay $3.99 to get a bag of food about to go in the dumpster: https://www.toogoodtogo.com/
IP secrecy isn't a moat in the age of AI. Open Source is the only way.
Essentially, yes. Public portfolios come in different flavors though. Most often it's code. But sometimes it's research, a blog, transcripts of talks ripped from YouTube.
I'm saying the sections of the resume don't matter at all. The resume is basically ignored. You either have public code you can point to on Github or you aren't ever hearing from us.
No, there are AI's specifically for solving leet code. It's a waste of time.

https://leetcodewizard.io/

Changed enormously. Both resumes and interviews are effectively useless now. If our AI agents can't find a portfolio of original work nearly exactly what we want to hire you for then you aren't ever going to hear from us. If you are one of the 1 in 4000 applications who gets an interview then you're already 70% likely to get an offer and the interview is mostly a formality.
