SDE I, SDE II... Microsoft?
Just wait until Java starts compiling to WebAssembly and skip learning JavaScript altogether.
Based on title I assumed it's about vacations: put on an VR helmet - fly a drone in Patagonia/Fuji/Arctic.
"Physical activity, he said, pools blood in the lower half of the body, reducing blood flow to the heart. In response, the heart pumps more vigorously. In people with NCS, the brain misreads that as high blood pressure and tries to lower the pressure, which leads to decreased blood flow to the brain and, thus, fainting."I like how it sounds like an engineering flaw. Hopefully one day our software will not be bound to randomly generated aging hardware.
It's a scripted hypertext document trying to pretend it's an application.
How do I define a constraint to ensure referential integrity?
At least you don't need to be profitable.
Web is independent, thus making tools for it is both no one's and everyone's concern.
Mobile/desktop platform providers on the other hand are typically worried about developer experience and thus e.g. you get XAML/QT instead of patching HTML with Bootstrap.

They think they are trolls, but all they are doing is feeding another troll.
Do you honestly enjoy programming though? Or is it just a job?
Unity3d provides C# to JavaScript compilerUnity3d does too many things (except new versions of C# :P) and ties to itself. There should be a direct C# -> WebAssembly compiler in future.
WebAssembly will make both irrelevant in a few years.
Dart and TypeScript will be as irrelevant as JS. Why Dart if you can have Go/Scala/F#/Haskell/Ruby/etc. compiled to WebAssembly?
Hopefully we will not need Unity3d to have high-performance C# engines in browser.
If you cannot prevent something, you might as well be a part of it. Unofficially.
If I could just use my favourite language and not feel like a second class citizen, then I am not sure there would be anything else to complain about as a developer, really. A mark-up bytecode so that we could forget about the nightmare of HTML and CSS as well?
Expect the Final Final pre-Release post-Draft. ES6 will never get released.
TL;DR: 8000+ is good enough.
C# and Go are both good choices. Hopefully Microsoft will deliver a decent Linux dev experience via VS Code / Monaco to make C# more appealing though. In 2015 people really deserve a language with generics in it. But, yeah just stay away from dynamic languages beyond prototypes. At least don't pick something that is both dynamic AND weakly typed.
The salary ceiling is very low in UK.
"...I think the ability to decide when/if you get pregnant and have kids is fantastic..."Typical scenario: she lies to him she is (still) on the pill, gets pregnant - he has no say on abortion, gives a birth - he has to pay or he goes to jail.
Both parties should have a say on whether a child gets born.
No, I am not. Good effort though - Google needs spanking.
That kind of "employment" already exists - known as 'social work'.
"...forces users to upgrade..."This is a good thing for computing power progress.
