I cannot justify the cost of the Pros also. I have an M2 Pro MacBook Pro for day to day work and an iPad Air M1 for on the go Comms/media and it's just as good as the Pro at a fraction of the cost I think.

Because humans will always be able to rip-off consumers/businesses more than computers do in terms of renewals.

Re:Why is the offical Java website so outdated?
on Wednesday May 06, 2020 @09:07AM (#23090453)
Some websites are designed to be simplistic and minimal such as Berkshire and Hathaway's website and I completely get that. But Oracle have not updated the look/design of the Java download website for many years and it just looks terrible. Thoughts?
Why is the offical Java website so outdated?

Who else here loves the Berkshire Hathaway website? Yes it's outdated and not exactly pretty but it's so 'cut to the chase' and easy to navigate. I see why they never changed it. A bit like Warren and his house that he has lived in since 1958!
