Even desktop app on Linux and a web app.
About 80-90 min a day. Huge time saving compared to public transportation which I used previously.
How much degradation are you wiling to observe before you conclude maybe it should not be ignored?
Brave and it is not even close. Only browser where I do not need to adjust privacy settings out of the box. On Firefox I need to go hunt for flags...
Just turn off crypto stuff and off you go. Brave Origin will fix that.

Never used Reddit app, I only ever used Reddit via web browser. Wanted to share a Reddit post via Share Sheet on Android but it refuses to copy URL. Tried bith Brave and Vanadium on Android. It is only website like that, I tested several of them.Usually I would assume it was a bug but there are too many "bugs" that nerf a website as they keep recommending app for better experience.Did anyone...
No need. Use GhrapheneOS without Google services. It is like dumb phone with modern browser.
Brave. Good defaults out of the box unlike Firefox where you need to fiddle with bunch of flags.
Cross-platform apps and adblocking.
There is no extensions on FF for iOS, no adblocking. It's just Safari skin.
From what source do you install those apps?
Safari as a default, Brave as a backup.

I do not have Google apps installed on my phone. I rarely use any of them other than occasionally Maps and Search. I use them as websites exclusively. If you try to search something on Maps you will be redirected to App Store to download the app. Mobile page is no longer functional.Workaround at the moment is switching to desktop view. They will probably stop that too.Internet is getting worse...
Of course you can. I'm doing it for years now.
In hospitality you can still do things in person. Try printing CV and visit some pubs/restaurants asking them do them are they currently looking for employee. At least your CV will circumvent usual CV queue.
What would be example of good stuff that does not get to the top?
Doesn't that refer to personal data only? If you did not provide personal info to HN, would GDPR still apply?
Yes. It is so convenient that if I stumble upon app/website that does not support it I get very annoyed.
Linux Mint is a king of consistency. At the top 5 for many years. Best first distro imo.
Tried many but always went back to it.
My company wants me it install Microsoft Authenticator but I find that unacceptable. That is my personal device and installation of any app is my choice and my choice only.
That being said, TOTP is practically standard and every phone have a method of generating their own TOTP so I don't mind adding employer's company to my BitWarden or Apple passwords. Same way I would not have problem to have SMS as a MFA.
Ones I currently listen that might fit the bill are: Modern Wisdom, Lex Friedman Podcast, Conversations with Tyler, History on Fire.
Try to add your favourite YT channels to your rss app. That is what I do.
