Re:OpenClaw plugin for finding remote jobs on Wednesday February 18, 2026 @06:31AM (#47059931)
Hi everyone. I hacked together a plugin for OpenClaw to make it your personal job hunting assistant.

It can: • Send the best matches directly to your WhatsApp/Telegram/etc. • Scan for new jobs every hour • Filter based on your requirements • Rank roles against your resume

Result: zero manual searching. Just hyper-relevant jobs sent to you automatically.

Yeah it’s super annoying to fix! Was literally banging my head again a wall trying to fix it
I'm the author of this blog. Thank you for calling this out! I'll update the example to fix this :)
this ended up being the fix! Thanks!
Hmm that's a bug and shouldn't be there. Sorry about that. Mind sharing any others you come across?
sorry about that! Site was getting a lot of traffic. Issue is fixed now!
Good to know! I had a look and actually my job board already has Sourcegraph jobs (I scrape jobs from all over the internet) - https://www.remoterocketship.com/company/sourcegraph

However, they were all classified as hiring in the US only. The reason is that the location is listed as "Remote". I used to classify "Remote" as "Anywhere in the world", however I found that many US companies tend to list the location as "Remote" but are only hiring for people based in the US (Companies in other countries will always include the country in the location field e.g. "Remote - UK"). Hence now I only classify the hiring location as "Worldwide" if the location field includes phrases such as "Worldwide" or "Anywhere in the world" etc.

Hi folks. Remote Rocketship is my side project that searches the internet for remote jobs.A dev friend of mine in South Africa was recently searching for a remote job and was complaining how most companies will only hire you if you're based in certain countries. So I ended up putting together this list of companies that I found that don't care where you're based.I hope it's useful!

For the folks on this page looking for remote jobs: I've created a page where you can easily filter through jobs posted here by hiring location, salary, tech stack and company size.

I'd love to hear your feedback on it :)

Thanks! I'll look into it!
That's good to know. Thank you! If you're up for it, I'd love to share an updated version with you once I've incorporated your feedback. If you are, let me know what the best way to get in touch with you is (my contact details are on the site)
This is super useful feedback! Thank you for explaining it so clearly. It all makes perfect sense

Re knowing which ATS the orginization uses, why is this important?

Show HN: I built a job board that scrapes the internet for Remote roles

Hi folks. My wife has been looking for a job and has been frustrated with existing job boards because they either don't have enough jobs (because companies need to pay to list their openings) or they don't have good information/filters on the companies. To solve this, I scraped recruiting sites like Workable, Greenhouse and Lever where most job openings are hosted. I then parse them for useful...
