I would love to be able to just buy a new phone battery and keep mw phone going longer. But I do not want to have to go through a complex taking apart process that may result in destroying it.

Sound design in Asia in general is amazing. I remember the sound when the metro arrives in Taiwan (both Taipei and Kaohsiung)being both really fun and effective at informing you. What really impressed me is how even the garbage trucks sing a little lullaby when they pick up the garbage at night.
It is sad we don't pay as much attention to this in Europe and America and usually just go for loud beeps. Sounds can be functional and pleasant at the same time.

Hey if y'all don't mind ill use this thread to ask for a recommendation. I'm using a 2009 macbook (a1342) that I upgraded with SSD, extra RAM etc.
When it passes, I planning on replacing it with another old macbook. Are following models as reliable? What about macbook air ?
I'm worried because the white macbook was easy to repair and upgrade, the others seem much harder to take apart.

Not comparable at all. Protecting Taiwan has been a foundational element of American foreign policy. A Chinese invasion would signal to the world a huge shift in power and would effectively be the end of US dominance over the world stage.

Same problem as always, they are thinking of clusters in terms of spatial planning when they should be encouraging places where clusters already exist. The logic is top-down when it should be bottom-up. What has been done for the French Tech program is a good example of what should be done in the future.

You probably heard it mentioned as shadowbanning. That is when a person can comment but no one will see their comments.

Yeah I can't really think of many uses. I only have one blind friend but she is very good at recognizing voices and will let you know if she doesn't identify your voice. It's good that this is an option though!

Eh, I think it's just a common mistake, and I corrected them because it's a pet peeve of mine, not because I think it is a big deal. Your line of thinking is not new to me though, and if "could care less" is sarcastic then I would argue it is particularly ineffective sarcasm (see: http://incompetech.com/gallimaufry/care_less.html).

This movement reminds me of the French Pirate Party. They have a lot of goodwill but 1/ they do not agree on what shape to take in order to attain the goals they have defined 2/ they have no understanding of how organizations function in real life in regards to hierarchy, decision making or political action and 3/ they do not seem to get that their propositions are only appealing to a niche, meaning there is still a lot of groundwork to be done before acting at a party level.
I don't see it gaining much traction and I think it will go the way the French Pirate Party with its very high turnover rate and its legendary infighting.
