Nice try, Toronto Hydro
Don't think anyone has mentioned https://web3forms.com/ which normally means there's a good reason not to... Anyone advise against it?

They're referring to ATS, not CV.

Have you tried registering? Assuming you've used the same email address, it lets you see them.
Re:What's the Best City for Techies in 2024? on Tuesday November 21, 2023 @02:47PM (#38369013)
Clicked through wondering if Bristol, UK, or Talinn, Estonia might make an appearance, but I guess the author missed a word from the title.

The main shirt pictured has a typo, but apart from that, neat idea!
Re:Show HN: Ethical AI – Alternate Reality Game on LLMs on Thursday September 07, 2023 @04:20AM (#37416127)
Sorry, I'm normally pretty good at these but I'm completely baffled by this. I'm on the homepage, don't see a chat bot and can't find a passphrase for the employee login. Can someone give me a hint please?

EDIT: nevermind, I'm in. If I was a dev, I might have figured it out sooner :D

Mine went on forever and I gave up. Am I missing something? (I'm on a mobile)
Appropriate shortlink there...
Re:Job on Indeed Open to AI Entities Only on Monday June 19, 2023 @12:04AM (#36387214)
For anyone wondering, their terms say:

"Direct discrimination means, for example, that a Job Listing, requirement, or question specifically makes clear that only Job Seekers matching a certain criteria are wanted, thereby excluding others because of, for example, their gender, race, age or disability. Indirect discrimination means, for example, that a Job Listing, requirement, or question implicitly excludes certain classes of Job Seekers by making it impossible for them to qualify for the job requirements. You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to refrain from posting any Job Listing, requirement, or question that directly or indirectly discriminates against Job Seekers or otherwise violates applicable law."

Not mobile-friendly though, unfortunately
Re:Show HN: Ellie – Your AI email assistant on Friday December 16, 2022 @02:18AM (#34011684)
Ironically, there's also a few grammatical mistakes, like missing commas. Ellie will sort them out for you. :)

Not if you've also got a tumble dryer

Not working for me in Duck Duck Go or Chrome:

net::ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

Is having a broken link one of them?

Re:An easter egg when you Google “Dart Mission” on Tuesday September 27, 2022 @03:38PM (#33000100)
Does for me. Chrome and Duck Duck Go, Android 12.
Great idea. I loved the idea of microloans when they first came about, and this feels like a similarly good social enterprise.

I don't see the usual investment disclaimers though... E.g. "risk" ... "May not get your investment back" etc. Where can I find that please?

Richard Restak's new book looks a lot like this one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/50896930-the-memory-of-b...

Which led me down a confusing path. Can anyone shed any light on it? Is it common for a publisher to reuse the same cover and style for another similar book? Why does the ISBN for Ilchi Lee's book take me to Restak's?

Maybe it's an elaborate joke on memory...

Nice app. I'm forever running out of Google One storage and didn't realise this was possible.

On your blog, as it's obvious you're the creator of the tool, I think it would go over better if you said something like:

'Fortunately, I've created a web app called Unattach that solves this use case.'

Also, please consider left aligning your text as dyslexic people struggle with justified copy.

Are you no longer accepting new users?
Re:Ask HN: Anyone else having trouble with Twitter? on Tuesday August 09, 2022 @02:26PM (#32401848)

Ask HN: Dynamic Screen Recorder for SaaS?

Does anyone know of any screen recorder / video production tool that allows for easy change or "swapout" of the screen part at a later date? The use case is for help videos for our SaaS product, which can be quickly updated when we introduce a new feature or module. Specifically the visuals, and not the voiceover or script necessarily.I'm not sure if such a thing exists, but our product changes...

Ybug.io is the best I've found for this purpose. The only thing it doesn't do is collect the DOM element information. The user can choose to send a report with a full-screen screenshot or annotate a part of it.

It also sends console errors if you want it to.

Woah there. You've clearly never tried a chocolate digestive.
Very nice. What constitutes a micro-startup?
