Because I have to go through it to get to my android TV and Linux machine, until glasshouse it was driving me nuts how poorly designed the LG home app was. I just want to click a button and get the input selector!
The LG G5 stock remote doesn't even have a input button... Or a mute button, But it does have, six apps I never want to use, a AI microphone button that isn't useful, an accessibility button (which wouldn't actually be useful if I needed those features, you have to hold it to get a useful menu, which I am sure is easy for people who have trouble with remotes.
I rebound the accessibility button (located top right, where you expect the input button to be) to trigger home assistant to send an IR signal to open the input menu, disabled the random apps (though I did consider assigning those to inputs) and made the ai microphone button a mute button.
Its a bit silky I need a WebKit vuln and a vibe coded homepage to get the TV to the same UX of 10 years ago, but I got there in the end.
All I want is to select my computer or streaming box and turn it off and on :/
I'm Australian and the only things measured in imperial units is babies (stones? But I think younger parents now use metric, but my parents only know baby weights in stones), beer (pints, but not the same as overseas I think, also it can vary by state), certain types of land units ("acerage" is a common land plot size) and height (feet and inches, for some reason people don't understand it in metric)
These are all customary usage so I'd say we are completely switched over, we couldn't tell you generally what these units look like outside of "how big is a baby" or "how tall is that person" or "is my beer large or small" really.
Wouldn't you just re-encrypt the secrets with a new host key? That's what I usually do (boot once to generate keys, update the secrets, rebuild and switch remotely to the machine)
I do it for small projects with about 10 infrequent users. They would ask me to reset it almost every time anyway.
Though next time I'll probably try oidc if I can find a common provider that isn't a hassle
Do you think they could ask for a backup
Okay serious question, why not just write this down in your notes or something? Why use a language model for it.
The crap part is a lot of niche phones got banned because you need to prove it can call triple zero not by default, so it'll be a real pain, and carriers don't really care.
I just need a phone which can call triple zero in Australia, I all not yet aware of any.
I was deploying some dotnet app and it broke because the devs baked a config key into the image that was otherwise unset, which enabled it trying to start a SSL endpoint without a cert, thus breaking the app.
Why split the nix into so many VMs instead of just systemd units?

HDR and multidisplay fractional scaling are two things that look better with your eyes that work best on Wayland.
I personally find colour management to work better than x11 lately, but that might not be for everyone.
I use nix, but I assume the same goes for guix, you write a package or run it with something that emulates a FHS (like steam-run, don't mind the name) and hope it works.
Writing a package is not as bad as it sounds, nix and guix have very little difference between "package maintainer" and "user" so most users probably can package software. Normally copying something from nixpkgs or similar will get you most the way there.
There is a large gap between public domain and GPL. For starters if Copilot is emitting GPL code for closed source projects... that's copyright infringement.

if russian -> could be ...
why would being russian make it this? it could be if it was made in any country. they did this attack once, okay? but its not like other countries dont pay attention.
did a search and I have no idea what you are talking about
Why does it have to be russian? Could be any country, even USA, China. I don't see why this sort of attack is limited to Russia.
not really how i would post on articles about my work
The best bit though, it will have a CRN on it. This CRN is the same as your drivers license. (at least in qld)
This means using a Drivers License / Proof of Age card is functionaly equivilant.

Clearly someone has an interest in targeting it - who knows if HTTPS would actually mitigate the risks though. Doubt it would hurt and would not be that difficult. It shows the lack of maintaince in BOM that leads to events like this.
It's going to blow your mind when you find out there's a longstanding movement of people further to the left of Chomsky and Bernie
Except Montana, and afaik other places, banned forms of nicotine vaping in response to this. Also the general public seems to think it's related to nicotine, not thc.
What's the state of all the laws brought in against vapes under the pretence that nicotine vaping is causing the outbreak in lung illnesses.
articles about rust don't have to include a link to "what is Rust" like this one does.
The fact it tries to downplay that millions of people are dying, and continue to die, ignoring that there is direct correlation between number of pills dumped in a state and deaths.
Worth noting she works for a conservative think tank, so I am not sure I am going to take her at face value for defending pharmaceutical corporations...
Because they didn't pay for it?
Are you familar with the Nokia n900, I have a feeling you might like it.
