This also should happen for banner ads.
The Current Generation of the Grand Theft Auto series do in fact meet the qualifications. The game skin throws you off, but the structure is very similar. The only major difference is that there are subchapters in plot instead of just chapters.
Your ignorance and oversimplified reasoning is woeful. If banks left their vaults on locked and didnt enforce theft, you would bet your ass that people would filling their fat pockets with wads of $100s. If someone makes something and wants to charge a dollar amount you cannot say no and just take it.
Your argument of people doing it right is irrelevant. They choose to sell it one way, and other artists choose another. You as a consumer can have an opinion as to which way is most effective, but you cannot decide how they distribute.
The bigger point is that Google has put the cart before the horse. Before they start piling on their superior features Google + needs a killer app or an identity. I wrote a longer thought but it looked crappy in the comments.

If Google understands what's at stake hear, they need to stage a "government backed hijacking of their search engine" for a couple hours during peak business with a written statement explaining the evil of the bill.
If this is so devastating why doesnt Google do a "mock seizure" in which there search engine is seized by the government. They cant out influence Hollywood, but they sure can cause a ruckus online.
Be it call, email letter or in person. Volume is the key.
If you hit them where they live (personal Emil addresses and public facing forums) at least they will have to respond. These people are elected to represent the public if they aren't responding during their normal work day, we have a right to pester them until they respond.
1) Track down your representatives personal/work email address
2) Send your opinion in
3) Share and repeat
Agreed. Separate but equal didn't work so well the first time. I don't know why people are so quick to want to do it again.

The question is barring external circumstances, just strictly what the increased valuation is.
Communism, Nazism and any other 'isms are all considered social experiments. I am not comparing your actions to those, but you cannot hide behind a statement like that.
As far as value added to the conversation, the joke added more value than the sarcastic passive agressive response did. HN should be more concerned with monday morning quarterbacks than people who add a new facet to the discussion.
The only thing that stands as a non-contribution is your need to publicly proclaim a lack of a sense of humor.

I finished my MVP and have had friends and family test it. Unfortunately you dont always get the most honest answers from F+F. How have people gone about soliciting early testers outside of their social circle?
Super creative! God speed!
The most interesting part is the actual phone function isn't mentioned a single time in the whole video.
These articles constantly surface and they are beyond stupid. Facebook is VERY meaningful, 99 Designs (Helping small companies exist) is very meaningful. Marginalizing innovation because they arent curing cancer is stupid and misses the value.

My company is bringing on a very key advisor and I wanted to know if anyone has a formula or a personal anecdote on how to decide the level of equity to grant this person.
negatory, I share a laptop occasionally and there were different names logged into Firefox v Chrome.
Also HN killed the link the first time.
email me and I can talk about it
Thanks for the tip. I will throw it in the comments.
