Hey HackerNews! Just wrapped up my internship at Ossillate, where I had the opportunity to work on an amazing open-source project called Packj.

During my internship, I developed the Packj GitHub Action, which helps automate vulnerability reporting in software projects. It was an incredible experience to contribute to this innovative tool that promotes secure coding practices.

To provide more insights, I recorded a video walkthrough of the Packj GitHub Action. Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback!

Thanks @5bolts!
I work at this company that uses NACHA - "Nacha governs the ACH Network, the payment system that drives Direct Deposits and Direct Payments with the capability to reach all U.S. bank and credit union accounts".

So to use NACHA, you need to process transactions in to a text file in the NACHA format. Do you know any software that helps with this?

Could you please elaborate more on the DDG Mega Man part?
Is it not free? Do I have to purchase a license?
Just checked it. I don’t think gray and white make a good combination.
How do you calculate monthly active users on google analytics, though?
Launching to students might not be easy. I launched NFC Orange (https://www.nfcorange.com/) - a digital & NFC card for jobs and networking.

Some concerns: - How to get the words out? - How do I get more students on board? - Are they willing to try new tech? - Let's brainstorm!

Appreciate!

Just a feedback! The contrast ratio on https://whirlpress-js.vercel.app/ makes it hard to read.
Re:How to launch a Popl-like product on-campus? on Saturday December 03, 2022 @12:10AM (#33840812)
We are trying to launch a digital resume card for students (kinda like Popl https://popl.co/): https://www.nfcorange.com/

How should we promote it to students? Does anyone have any experience or ideas?

We have tried flyers, but did not work well. We really appreciate!

Ask HN: Why are most products launched on Mac?

Hi HackerNews!I wonder why most products are launched on Mac first. I have seen products like Mighty Browser, [Arc Browser](https://arc.net/), etc that were launched for Mac first.I wonder what makes Mac attractive or convenient for products to be built and launched on.Thanks!

It’s not a big app. I spent like 50+ hours making the app. So charging thousands is out of their budget.
How about see their willing to pay first then talk to a lawyer?
They’re willing to pay. As far as I know, they concern about an international student-led business.
Is this possible? I know the bureaucracy can be an issue.
