What is the new price through?
What is the payout method? And is it possible to install it on VSCode or it must be on CLI?
Which DeepSeek plan did you use? I been trying to find a DeepSeek for a while but with no success. I tried to use Claude $20 plan before, token burn like it is air, would be quite hard to believe anything else would burn so fast?

With the lowering usage limit in Claude, I am thinking of jumping ship to Chinese AI, since the benchmark is already very near compared to Sonnet or Haiku 4.5 , but for a fraction of the price. I am not worried about where is my data ending up through, I am focused on performance and usage limit. I mostly use it for coding and research. However, I am currently deciding on which to use, and would...

Hello everyone! With the rise of vibe coding, I am now seeing more and more non-technical people utilising AI to build websites, SaaS and much more, despite the quality is being super bad at first glance. However, with the huge load of AI-created websites, this make me questioned on how B2C SaaS can survive, as many people are now using AI to build a product instead of using things built by...

Hello everyone! A few years ago, Metaverse was like the next big things, however based on my recent research, I noticed that it is mostly a failure, if not direct massive failure. However, I am still a little enthusiastic about the metaverse, so I would like to ask, do you think any metaverse project will be a success in 2026?I am thinking of creating one based on the web, however using Codex to...

Hello everyone! I would like to introduce Side Project Hub, a new blog for everyone to discover amazing side projects by indie hackers and solo builders around the world.
I am currently building out this blog, that I hope to be a place where aspiring indie hackers and solo builders can make their side projects seen by people all around the world. I have many amazing plans for this project too, and I ensure you that it will be exciting.
I also just published my first weekly post on exciting side projects here too: https://sideprojecthub.substack.com/p/weekly-amazing-project...
If you are interested, please subscribe to the blog, it will help me a lot in getting this seen. The more people that subscribed and supported, the more people projects can be seen by others. I also love to heard any feedback from all members here on Hacker News, or if you want, feel free to message there on Substack or @jst-tan.com on Bluesky.
This is quite interesting, and it feel like Hacker News too. That is cool. Work take that into consideration. Thanks.
Just curious, are there a demo somewhere?
Tbh, how does this work through? Their website provide almost no information at all through.
Well making my own software would let me create my own features that I need, understand the codebase better and etc, and possibility create features that other software do not supported at the moment.
I heard of XenForo, but unfortunately it is very expensive to me. Thanks for suggesting by the way.
Is it possible to host Lemmy on a shared hosting? If possible, would love to check it out as I always interested in federated communities.
This is quite interesting, but just curious if this is under development, as I notice the UI is not that great through?
Hi! Thanks for your comment. I strongly appreciate this, and would take into consideration.
I agreed. Thanks for your feedback.
I agreed (but I posted here to get some feedback). But I don't think it is continuously updated, as I noticed their update progress is quite slow through.
I agreed. But I plan to run this forum on a shared hosting through, and I don't think it is possible.
Hi guys. I just noticed that this post has a Reddit post on the front text. I originally made this post for Reddit actually, but I taught of hearing feedback here too, so I cross-posted it here. I forgot that the title of the text which is 'Reddit post' is also copied. If you guys have any recommendations or feedback for me, I would love to hear it. I sincerely apologise.
Just curious, I has noticed that it is only possible to host it on their cloud, and doesn't have any autonomy to host the forum myself?
Hi! Thanks for your comment. I also plan to create one myself, but I plan to deploy an existing forum software first, before moving on my own software. I want to use a hosted forums as it is easier to moderate, as well as hosted forum can give us some autonomy, without at the hands of big social media like Discord and Reddit, and we could made it to the benefit of the community based on what the community want.

Reddit PostHi guys! I am considering of creating a new forum for a little fun, by hosting a current open-source forum software and making some changes and tweaks . An independent place on the Internet without any outside influence or interference.I plan to make it a place similar to 4chan in its glory days, without all of the illegality of the forum, as well as without all of the chaos that...
Hello everyone! I am an indie hacker and bootstrappers, but I always find it hard to have a relevant place where indie hackers and bootstrappers can find fellow peers with similar interests to hangout at.
So, I had created this Slack workplace, where everyone is welcome to have a chat and hangout at. I has created a few channels for everyone to chat in, and users could choose to contact each other privately through DMs if both parties are interested.
I decided to choose Slack over Discord, due to the toxic environment on the Discord platform, and lack of native integrations with other tools.
Join us today!
