I ran into something interesting recently while using Claude AI to review some of my code.During the day the responses were *fast*. I could paste a file, ask for suggestions, iterate quickly, and the workflow felt smooth. But when I tried doing the same thing later in the evening — around *9 PM and after* — the experience changed a lot.Responses suddenly took *much longer*.
Sometimes it would...
The interleaved load trick is clever, i never thought about using vld4 that way. always assumed SIMD would struggle with sequential dependencies like this since each value depends on the previous one
curious how this holds up on older ARM chips, like would you see similar gains or does it depend heavily on the M4's specific pipeline. also wonder if there's a similar approach for AVX on x86 or if the instruction set makes it more awkward.
the part about amateur astronomers driving days into the australian outback just to catch a few milliseconds of starlight is kind of insane when you think about it. science is weird in the best way
also didnt realise the debris itself played such a big role, i assumed it was just the impact doing all the work. makes you wonder how accurate you'd need to be if you were actually trying to deflect something heading toward earth, like the margin for error must be incredibly small
not only these, other asian countries are also falling into this fuel crisis.
the ai humanizers are getting out of hands, any experiences ...
i hope 2026 is the new 2016
good review, the trackpad point is interesting - i didnt realise apple switched to haptic feedback that long ago. the no ambient light sensor thing seems like a weird cut to make honestly, that feature is so seamless you forget its there until its gone.
also curious how the battery holds up after a year or two of use, thats always where budget laptops tend to show their age. but for $600 its hard to argue with, especially if youre just browsing and writing stuff.
I am getting started to claude projects... Any usefull things . . . worth knowing that saves free limits . . . . .
Greatly i n s p i r i n g ! !
