I am on the free trial and it did not extend to my family. Unsure whether this will change when the trial converts to a paid subscription.

I recently logged into my Paperspace account to find that all my Jupyter notebooks and project files had been deleted. Despite a week of attempts, their support team was unable to recover my data and couldn't explain what caused the data loss.I requested a credit to cover a few months of my Growth subscription as a goodwill gesture for the lost data and time. Wow. I chat on Freenode daily during my teen years (~2007) and I used to be friendly with many of the Freenode opers, including Christel.

I mostly stopped using IRC in 2017. Reading about Freenode's "acquisition" (takeover) spurs lots of nostalgia and makes me sad.

Good. Putting people with addiction issues in jail was the wrong approach.

Perhaps the addicted can seek help in other ways without the fear or risk of being incarcerated.
