"Why do I have to give a reason to stop paying for a service?"
You don't have to ask to stop paying for their service. Taken from FAQ:
"Can I cancel membership anytime I want?
Yes. Absolutely. All users may cancel their membership on the site at any time. Simply go to Account settings and under Membership status you’ll see your club subscription with an option to cancel."
However, I still find it odd that you have to contact them in order to delete your account.
After I saw "Access your direct messages." I cancelled my signup & uninstalled the browser extension. That permission is a bit too steep for me.
I'm really glad that it's a style significantly different from pebble. Should be fun to develop on!
+1. I just started learning and using it a few weeks ago; it's been a lot of fun.

This is awesome, and pretty creative. I'd be interested in how the "host a $100,000 event" process goes..

I've never heard of an interviewer asking about HN. My guess is your location is probably the biggest determinant of whether this situation will happen or not. Midwest? Not so much.
I swear technology is working against me; I just finished buying my IPS panel monitors.
Well I can undoubtedly say the UI of this watch is more sleek and seems a bit more classy than the pebble smart watch; but I have some concerns. First off, it's only developed for iPhone which leaves out a large part of the market. And secondly, (compared to pebble) there is no SDK for users to self-develop apps or features. With that being said I geuss it would have an appeal to less tech savy users.
We'll see how it does.
Is it just me or does this seem like an incredibly large untapped market?
I think the device will do well. It's damn sleek and the UI seems pretty intuitive/simple. If it can last a student 2 years; I'm sure it pays for itself.
Agreed, have you seen Bootstrap's new default feel/theme?
http://rc.getbootstrap.comIt's also more flat and metro. Anyone know of a release date?
