If he was funding cartel activity by purchasing meth from Mexico, you can be sure that harm resulted (even before you get to the destruction that meth addiction causes).
Re:Dream Vendor "Canna_Bars" Sentenced to Prison on Sunday September 20, 2020 @07:35AM (#24533374)
I want to agree with this, but I've seen firsthand how meth heads bring down everyone around them.
Re:Are you an anarchist? The answer may surprise you (2000) on Saturday September 05, 2020 @12:23PM (#24384725)

In this case, it mostly seems to be a difference between what Joe Blow says and what actual epidemiologists say. One of these is decidedly more valid than the other. I'm sure the experts disagree on some points, but these are details compared to the difference between the overall message they offer and what some self-centered goob or conspiracy theorist wants.

>Since stars are burning out and the universe is expanding, are we also about the last generation of life?

Red dwarfs will still be burning a trillion years from now. The flare stars among them will only become more stable with time. I'm not sure what the prospects for interstellar travel will be by then, though.

Really? That's the defense he's going with? Just admit your mistakes, apologize, settle out of court and move on. Don't double down on the stupid.
In the state I live in, anything can get you fired. Being up for a raise can get you fired. So where's the news here?
The first couple of images show the milky way pretty much as it actually appears from a suitably dark location. Maybe just a bit brighter and more contrasty than I recall, but I'm sure there are many here who see it almost nightly and can speak to that better. Just saying, it doesn't look grossly exaggerated to me.
Why would you feel the need to defend it? It's your bandwidth. Your paying for it. Filter the content you access however you like with a clear conscience.
Re:Vandalize Your Car on Sunday September 08, 2019 @05:41PM (#20913622)
Well, it's no uglier than my stock gray Focus.
Re:Why didn't the Romans contribute much to mathematics? on Saturday August 24, 2019 @10:35PM (#20791007)
But mostly, it's a graveyard of unanswered questions.

Let me stop you right there...

Depends. How cool is your supervillain lair?
Also, the whirling blades that move randomly up and down the length of the tunnel seem downright unnecessary.
