Lovable (https://lovable.dev) | ONSITE+REMOTE | Stockholm | Full-Time | Generalist Engineers + Growth Engineers

We're a small team of serial (ex-YC) founders, CTOs, designers & IOI gold medalists building an AI that can build software while saving Europe.

We've reached $30M ARR in 5 months, making us the fastest growing startup in Europe. You'd be an important part of our small team of less than 30 people.

We believe that hiring the brightest and most ambitious minds in Europe is crucial. We care deeply about building a great product. We want to work with people who are as ambitious and motivated about shipping fast as we are.

In particular, we're looking for:

- Design Engineer - Generalist Engineer - Growth Engineer - Platform Engineer - Business and Operations - Brand & Marketing Lead - Content Production Lead

Our stack: Golang backend, Rust for infra, Next.js, AWS, Fly.io, Firebase.

Sounds cool, but I have some doubts. Every Figma-to-code tool promises production-ready apps, but in reality, they usually generate a mess that still requires devs to clean up.

A few questions:

- How does it handle complex logic beyond basic CRUD?

- What’s the output quality like? Is it actually maintainable, or will devs end up rewriting everything?

- How flexible is the AI-driven functionality? Natural language sounds nice until you need precise control.

If this truly lets designers build real apps without hitting a wall, that’s impressive. But history says these tools work great for simple prototypes and fall apart on anything non-trivial. Curious to hear from early users—has anyone built something beyond a basic UI?

If you enter "generate.new/to do app" in any search engine, an app will start getting generated by Lovable from the prompt you added to the URL.
Kudos to the dev team for being so quick
