New businesses emerge everyday, many call themselves startups.
Inaction is only the default option in totalitarian societies.
Logically extrapolated, mass genocide is usually the alternative to technological innovation. Most of us agree one is better than the other — The rest look the other way. (Ex. The Chinese on Uighurs)
This is location dependent. If you live in such a community, I recommend exploring your options.

Won’t stop at vaccinations
When something’s too expensive I don’t buy it. There are almost an infinite number of substitutes for almost anything.
Yikes, to equivocate the impact of taxes and regulations to that of comedy clubs, I can’t imagine being so naive.
I still have a difficult time understanding how increased homelessness is not a direct result of increased taxes and regulations. The data presented corroborates as much and though correlation doesn’t mean causation, correlation certainly doesn’t indicate a lack of causation either. We go to great lengths to justify the results when the simplest explanation is staring right at you.
Warming from 18,000 to about 10,000 years ago looks a bit more significant than the current hike lol
At this point, as conspiratorially as it sounds, I think this is exactly what the powers that be intend.
How does that matter in this instance? Or do you always just automatically assume FN is bias?
What comes to mind is the fact that the prevalence of adults with a disability in the United States is significantly higher in rural areas compared to large metropolitan areas and those rural areas are already underserved by commuting options given the current model.
To your point that they are more financially limited — that is the reason why disability benefits exist.
>
”You would quickly find that the market is too small to be worthwhile.”How many markets will be too small to be worthwhile after prices increase? I would wager it would be more than the contrary
>
“There would be no taxis for the disabled because the costs would be prohibitive.”This is 100% false because I know for a fact if there was no other taxi company providing services to the disabled I would start my own company for the disabled today.
> “I don't think that uber should allow drivers to use any vehicles not equipped for wheel chair transport”Poor and handicap people will suffer more so from a price hike resulting from your suggestion — disabled people should just pay more because (1)they are taking up more time to service and (2)they receive benefits that everyone else doesn’t to compensate for such scenarios. The way it is currently setup is likely the most optimal configuration for all parties involved.
Personal anecdote: I do have a family member that passed away and the cause was mislabeled as COVID(He never tested positive). So one sympathizes with the 38%
I know you’re being sarcastic but it’s not funny when these are the kind of policies those in power are actually enforcing.

And suggesting we kill or maim young people is not sociopathic?
>
”Unfortunately this argument is sustained all through history and today we have people going something like “actually, working multiple minimum wage jobs and struggling to pay rent is good”.”It’s much worse than that — today we have people justifying why they work for others as opposed to being entrepreneurs. “It’s not for everyone. It’s too much work. It’s all about luck. You have to be rich already. etc…”
From lioeters comment, supporting the argument:
