The article https://www.economist.com/britain/2026/09/23/ai-written-spee... has some data on this (it uses Pangram for the classification).
Without wanting to sound too critical, that sounds like you're trusting vibes over statistics.

The phishing potential?

Re:Passkeys Are Not a Trap on Wednesday October 14, 2026 @11:51AM (#50089616)
Well, KeePass is self-hosted, and I hadn't heard of strongbox before, but it says on the website:

> Store your data anywhere you like, online or offline. Sync with every major cloud storage provider or your own server over WebDAV or SFTP. Use your Strongbox database with any KeePass compatible client on any platform.

> Bounties exist to make it nominally more economical for researchers to report exploits than it is to resell them.

Is this really true? After all, reselling the exploit would be illegal, and most people don't want to break the law to earn income.

Surely at least some part of this is confirmation bias?

Re:Shipping JPEG XL in Chrome on Wednesday October 07, 2026 @02:35PM (#49996975)
I believe the image would need to be present in the full size image, so I think that would limit to some extent the attack vector, but I don't know how far you could push it.
Re:Shipping JPEG XL in Chrome on Wednesday October 07, 2026 @12:19PM (#49994934)
How would that work in an attack?

I appreciate you basing your argument in statistics, but if you have them to hand, could you link to them?

It's not that well known, but mpv supports playing youtube videos. I think you need yt-dlp installed.
Re:F-Droid 2.0: A New Chapter for Android Freedom on Thursday September 24, 2026 @01:33PM (#49834075)
What features does the wireguard app have that alternatives like WG Tunnel or KabelWacht lack?
Re:F-Droid 2.0: A New Chapter for Android Freedom on Thursday September 24, 2026 @01:29PM (#49834015)
I've found Droid-ify more reliable at doing background updates, though it still only manages it sometimes (possibly due in some way to how I installed the apps). Hopefully Fdroid's app will be better at this.

I don't think it's entirely the same situtation with ads on a blog you read for free vs ads on a device you pay a lot of money for.

Even very basic games can be fun (e.g. tetris). Though maybe the funness of a game is more an art than a science.
