I actually like their implementation. I'm curious if it will be enough for governments, but it is nice that they are trying to persue a path without id checks

no?

I guess it falls in the same category of burglars that enter from the unlocked main door. It is still illegal even if there were no security measures to overcome by the attacker.

That being said using an API does require a minimum of computer knowledge

>None of the dietary studies that I have seen has provided any conclusive evidence that meat per se is the harmful ingredient

This is innacurate if not simply false; according to the WHO red meat is a class 2 carcinogenic and sausages are class 1 carcinogenic. This leaves only white meat as non cancerogenic

If you look at the data vegan (and vegetarian to a lesser extent) diets over various studies consitently perform better in cardiovascular health and cancer rate (colon in particular) compared to the omnivorous conterpart

It may not affects me personally but i'm still interested in the topic and the discussions it generates.

But... he literally said in the following sentence that adding more mass does not change size, implying that he is talking about diameter, not mass.

I guess it is more of a derivative of the question: "in which bucket should we put the brown dwarf? Is it a star or a planet?". The answer is neither of course; but since it is more closely related to stars than to planets, I'm more inclined to call this satellite an exoplanet (instead of exomoon).

That being said it is still a nice finding, way more difficult to discover than "normal" exopanets.

I love it. It also saves you tokens and it has been linked with more accuracy.
It is truly fascinating, I wonder how it evolved like that. Before becoming a spring as it is today how was it hunting in the past? What constraints made it need such a mechanism instead of a typical web?

It is nice to see it submitted other times with nice results. I don't see anything wrong in resubmitting it again during Tau day to spread awareness

Animals (humans included) work on the same "framework" (i.e., the brain), so even if the definition of consciousness is fuzzy, we can rank them in a more or less consistent way. LLMs, on the other hand, are just the linguistic part of a brain without anything else. Whether this is enough to be conscious is up for debate (in my opinion no, but that's irrelevant), but it falls outside the spectrum assumption IMO.
> we'll have figured out a renewable energy concept that'll handle the load by then"

Seems like wishful thinking. If anything with the current electrical trends there will be even more demand for energy in the future and unless some miracolous clean energy source is invented, nuclear (or fossil fuel) will need to be used

I've seen a few studies about it. If i remeber correctly, basically making them talk like a caveman increases the information density of every token and decreases the chance that they would allucinate.

As sources this is the one i found but i'm sure there are others: > Persona-based Prompting Has An Effect on Theory-of-Mind Reasoning in Large Language Models > Text Compression as a Proxy for LLM Reasoning Efficiency

> Id pay to be able to reliably set LLMs to this mode,

You can do it for free. Just give it instrucitons to avoid emotional tones and flattery and it will sound a lot more robotic. If you look into other examples I'm sure you will find other good instructions based on your need

> They talk like real people. They use a relaxed and friendly tone. They often praise you, and when they “push back” they’re gentle and attentive.

> Maybe I would prefer a more radical solution: drop the human pretense entirely. Make the agent sound clinical, robotic.

Honestly this problem is easy to solve when you gave them the right instructions. It stops being a "relationship" and stars being a tool (for some examples see the smart caveman (my favorite) or just something simple like "Responses should be factual and direct, avoid emotional overtones" or "Avoid flattery of any kind")

Re:I turned my Kindle into my own personal newspaper on Sunday March 29, 2026 @02:52AM (#47560942)
I would suggest to just jailbreak the kindle and automate the workflow with koreader or other "apps"
But.. it is not AI? What is giving you that impression?
