Try splitting up your intake to 3-4g/dose. I find that it fully dissolves that way. Hot coffee also helps. I do 5g on hot coffee (I get some undissolved creatine at the bottom sometimes) + 5g on my protein shake.

I'm also a Go+SQlitemaxxer. For my first SaaS I focused on keeping the list of external services very short, as I basically couldn't afford it. I only picked those services that were a) vital b) could be replaced with a homegrowned/FOSS alternative.

Besides keeping the costs down, I find that this approach makes it way more enjoyable to build and easier to manage than having 10 services/subscriptions.

*PS: I think that you could add a small QR Code for the iOS/Apple installation on your app's website.

A hammer should look like a hammer, a saw should look like a saw.
Yeah the RAE is super useful to end debates on what a word means, thats it. I see no issues with language not "evolving enough". Spanish written/talked a century ago is different than what it's spoken presently, even if the words mean the same.

As a DOOM Emacs user, I feel this looks great as I always use vim/nvim for simple file edits (but maybe thats the drawback of using something like Doom on old hardware)

I think it barely works outside of the US, but this is usual with most of the quick actions in Spotlight. Its kinda crazy all the extra options you get on Spotlight once you land in the USA.
Re:Ghost 5.0 on Monday May 23, 2022 @12:27PM (#31481140)
Ive installed and used Ghost several times in the past, sadly, the versioning and resource hogging is just too much. (Im specially picky on resource utilization). Nevertheless, I may try the new features and see if its worth it now. Congrats on the release!

I too had the same issue, I figured you must click the "Sorted by 1 field" badge. I wanted to sort by # of employees and I couldnt see the first few rows.

This is really nice, I like the graphs and the layout overall. How do you manage adding new books, JS?

Ive seen this exactly in the Spanish language (es-PE) version too. You also get suggestions that literally include XXX and other key terms
Re:Mechanical Watch on Wednesday May 04, 2022 @01:40PM (#31263550)
As usual Bartosz with another extremely high quality post, I have one question, in this bit:

> However, when the driving gear can’t rotate because it’s blocked by the rest of the gear train, the cannon pinion can overpower the friction of that tight fit and rotate on its own. This lets us set time without interfering with the gear train, which could break the delicate parts.

How can the cannon pinion (green) both overpower the friction to slide freely and also be attached to the driving gear (blue) when functioning regularly?

Does this imply that the driving gear and cannon pinion wear each other out every time you adjust the time?

Great! Finally I can learn "Poema 20" by Neruda.

I think one big issue is that in winter (May-September) not every day is foggy, so sure its helpful but not a perfect solution. It does get really foggy though in June-October. Thus we get natural vegetation in otherwise arid hills around Lima, the most popular called Lomas de Lachay[0].

Re:Ask HN: Have you used SQLite as a primary database? on Monday April 25, 2022 @01:59PM (#31158439)
Im using SQLite for several personal projects as well, if you were to migrate to Postgres how would you go about it? Any tools/service you recommend?
Yes, to me blockchain at this moment is more a solution looking for a problem. Regarding the biggest implementation, aka, Cryptocurrencies, what if they are "Too big to fail"? Should we as a society just let it happen to avoid a negative net economic welfare (in the short run)?
Re:WebP is such a goated format on Wednesday April 13, 2022 @10:33PM (#31022851)
Yes it basically means superb, it comes from G.O.A.T (greatest of all time) but it means it has reached the status to fight for GOAT.
Very interesting, I guess one of the reasons it didnt take off because it wasted so much space in the boot
Looks great, just a comment on the marketing screenshots. There seems to be an awful lot of "wasted" space in the editors. Maybe at least consider showing code that is a bit wider ? ~80 chars? (maybe HTML Code?) I feel like horizontal space is way more important on a 9.7" screen than on a 24" monitor.
Re:What’s new in Emacs 28.1? on Wednesday April 06, 2022 @10:38AM (#30932460)
Indeed, I started with VIM when I was in uni and things were kinda slow. After a few weeks/months I was very happy with it and it truly felt as a productivty booster. (I switched between VSCode with vim keybindings and Neovim). Then, for last year's AoC I wanted to explore Lisp, so after weeks of trying out sbcl and running it thru the terminal I finally tried Doom Emacs. And for me too, its been a journey, its a "text editor" that truly exemplifies what a good 40yo+ piece of software should be.
It actually happened to me yesterday while I was installing Firefox on an old laptop I have lying around. I think it triggered the pop up when I ran the firefox installer or when I clicked on download not sure.
