I've got an idea for a startup
I have an idea for a startup but I'm not sure how I would actually go about implementing it in a technical sense to beta, on a minimal budget and within a short time period. The other consideration I have is sharing my idea with a technical guru who could potentially advise me on some of the best practices and relevant technologies. Though without an NDA in place (and a realistic way to enforce...
It has to go both ways.
As an extra bonus... With a NZ permanent residency, I believe, one is also permitted to work and reside in Australia; easily the outstanding economy and often top placed in most living standards, job opportunity and economic and political stability surveys. By way of example, Australia's current head of state and head of government are women.
If the USA continues to put up unnecessary barriers for up-and-coming entrepreneurs to stay in and benefit the US, why not take your business ideas elsewhere?
Frankly there are many more places in the world to live and prosper financially. We live in a global economy, so location should not be always of prime importance for a web-based startup, or...?
Teams to watch out for who tend to play a very entertaining game is the Geelong Cats (last years AFL Grand Final winners). They are going through a golden era at the moment.
It was also tried on a number of players but the constant grunting (from exertion) was seen as a distraction to the enjoyment of the game.
I suspect that the amount of action time in a full 100 minute game of Aussie Rules (taking the professional Australian Football League as an example) would be close to 30-40 minutes action time (with some of the midfield players racking up around 20 kms running per game).
It would be interesting to do a similar analysis to the one undertaken here.
NB: Aussie Rules in the US has around 60 clubs and 3000 or so players. Their website can be found here: http://www.usfooty.com/
