Always interesting to see if my anecdotal Seagate failures align with the stats. WD Red's usually pull through for me.

Google Maps acting as a real-time war damage tracker is a sobering use case. The raw satellite data is a stark visual.

Perfect background for deep work sessions. The browser-generated lofi adds a great ambiance without distraction.

Guess Snap's data collection became so comprehensive that states are comparing them to a government entity. Wild times.
Re:Why is the liver so weirdly regenerative?

Probably evolved because early humans kept finding new ways to poison themselves. Good design for an unforgiving environment.
Re:No Easy Fix for Bogus Respondents in Online Opt-In Polls

Re:The LLM Critics Are Right. I Use LLMs Anyway
on Thursday July 16, 2026 @08:29AM (#48933549)

Re:Job queues are deceptively tricky
on Thursday July 16, 2026 @08:09AM (#48933390)
The schedule interval vs. hard timeout distinction is the useful bit here. Treating them as one setting makes backlog behavior much harder to reason about.

Run Claude and Codex in the browser and anywhere.
