Are you telling me that all those tough screening , bar raiser hiring and jazz can not produce a descent employee to solve this problem at google? I thought best of best of this universe works for FAANG. Amused.

I don't even know how guys are getting married without prenup these days and asking "wife" permission to do certain things..
Imagine how many founder thought like you - "I'm obv. not counting on this product making me a full-time income" Because right now "context" your thinking is different. As soon as people taste the blood(success), it ain't this thinking anywhere. We are emotional being at core. Jealousy, greed, ambition affects everyone including Himalayan Monk.
People start with "hey I love this topic. Let me write about it and I don't care what anyone else think or fame or money"
*1-2 years later success
Same people "Let me write something so I can milk the cow. I stop writing about code but instead how to make cheese from the milk which I am about suck from the cow organically"
As soon as your "passion" becomes "full-time" job , it is over. Any way I have to find my cow. Cioa
Stop blaming random companies. Control your daughters maybe. Facebook has no moral obligation to 'protect' your teen girls. Funny how people wine about "others" rather than controlling what they can.
I wonder these days if it was good idea to let everyone "write" on internet. Blogging seems like a plague these days... Look at me I am tech guru

Recently for new job I was told that they don't use Spring boot for development. I am not senior developer but I have been learning Spring boot extensively and for me it makes sense as it gives me structure to write my code and also so many Spring Project and lot of material available. Are you guys(Java People) still using Spring Boot as first choice for Backend development or something...
It amusing how people are justifying playing video games. Backward rationalization is amazing. If parents are defending it, I guess apple is not going to fall away from the tree, is it?

I have to wake up and pee 2-3 times a night. I put pillow under bed on my leg side and make leg side up. It is working so far. Every 4-5 hours from every 3 hours. I also trying Kegel exercise too. I can't stop drinking water before bed because I have acidity too and I can not sleep with dry throat :)

Unless someone made money teaching philosophy about life, I think it is phony for rich people to tell others about "moderation, family, values and what not". I mean they become rich by putting everything on backseat and then when they hit millionaire or billionaire, they start preaching online, writing "lessons learned" and worst make more money by "selling" philosophy. I can't stand this...

If a girl is beautiful and has already boyfriend/relationship then she doesn't want to hang out with other people and wait till clock hits 5 PM. Same can be said about married people but at least they will hang out sometimes. Single people especially guys want to hangout but as soon as all girls are gone, it becomes useless to stay. Personally I prefer we just stay stickily professional. But people do otherwise more often than not
Good to hear. Maybe follow up questions: Was it hard decision? How did you approach it? Does it affect 'dynamics' of the relationship as soon as you bring the subject into discussion?

I mean most people here otherwise so analytical about almost everything here. Writing code that covers negative cases, edge cases, failure, rare event etc. Why don't then they secure themselves in marriage? It seems counter-intuitive.
Yeah I know "Love is transcends all dimensions ..blah blah". I get it but still hard to understand considering, at least in west marriage fails more often than...
1) Please read Fooled by randomness book. Your friend won Russian Roulette. You want to try too?
2) Your friendship is essentially over. Cherish the past and let him go. Find friends in near about your income bracket. Better if they are poor than you by some margin
3) Read Stoicism
4) Focus on you and your family's wellbeing. Blood is thicker than water. So stop wasting time on who is digging hole where and how much deep and look after your hole and start digging your own hole. Metaphorically !
Good for them. Good for people. For me, I read books and get better everyday. Kudos to people wasting/engaging to such apps. Keep it up !

Thanks for reply. Would it be perceive as inflexibility if I want to stick to Java because there is so much more I am yet to learn in Java ecosystem? Also is it not better to hire experience Python developer if a company's technology stack is Python and not Java centric?
