I could climb Mt Everest. I could train, save up for the permits. But I lack the desire to do so.

But I could if I wanted.

But no-one is posting about how you're destroying Australia by letting all the British migrants move there and refuse to integrate.

Maybe they're posting about it on the Costa de Sol though?

Re:The U.S. Is Bullying Europe Like Never Before on Monday November 02, 2026 @11:02PM (#50347896)
Mate, wait until you hear about how British immigrants integrate or rather don't, overseas - oops, sorry, I mean expats, which is they prefer to call themselves.
Re:The U.S. Is Bullying Europe Like Never Before on Monday November 02, 2026 @11:00PM (#50347882)
I think the US could have, but lacked the political will to do so.

Except the IPO declared numbers on revenue end in June, so whether or not Opus 5.5 improved revenue or not, it's opaque to potential investors.

I don't believe anything about Bitcoin mate.
Re:Mystery of 60-Second Fluctuations in Power Grids Solved on Monday November 02, 2026 @04:20AM (#50334651)
I wish that article wasn't written entirely in Claude speak, it has some useful information, but the obvious AI voice will repel readers.

IIRC he often took part in flying the band's 747, called Ed Force One.

He was terrifying as the leader of a neo-Nazi group in Green Room.
When those cables go... dang that's a lot of tension.

Fun aside, there's a theory that Paul Le Roux is Satoshi Nakamato.
Re:Zero click, silent, remote Android DoS on Thursday October 29, 2026 @05:03AM (#50286278)
Omfg I am interested in this, I'm interested in wtf a WAP push is, but all I'm getting on this website is Claude-speak "not this, but that" and tables of irrelevant numbers, because Claude fucking loves a table.

Look at this Claude shit:

> Zero-click. The victim does nothing. No tap, no open, no notification.

> Silent. Nothing appears in Messages; the attacker's number is never shown.

Congrats, now you sound like yet another AI YouTube advertisement. "You control when we... ...woohoo"...

OP, please, if you think you have important information, please write it up yourself, I am so sick and tired of being sent LLM generated Markdown files with zero human input, and now you're just publishing that on a website.

FFS.

Oh you had Claude publish your name presumably so you'd get credit for "your" "discovery".

Mark Blaszczyk, please do better.

Claude approves of your sed.
Re:Python's experimental JIT to be removed on Wednesday October 28, 2026 @12:04AM (#50269235)
In my experiments with this, maybe, sorta, it'll do some AST stuff then it'll go "dang this shit is dynamic AF" then suggest a static type inference tool, then a runtime type profiler.

Which honestly, is the right approach.

Re:Python's experimental JIT to be removed on Wednesday October 28, 2026 @12:02AM (#50269224)
You can use static type analysers and runtime type profilers to add type annotations to a legacy codebase, but the interesting bit would be if you're built on top of a large untyped codebase you don't control like, say, Django, how far it can go.
Dear OP,

We have no context at all into your allegations of Wikipedia being big meanies to you. And nor do you provide any.

And frankly, your Substack post reads as either one of two things: 1) Agentic writing that devolved into hallucination 2) Schizophrenic paranoid delusions.

So please try to have a coherent narrative before posting these weird articles.

Ngā mihi.

That's a bingo gif.
Re:Lula wins election after final votes tallied on Monday October 26, 2026 @03:02AM (#50240105)
I'm not sure why letting more people vote is bad?

Unless you're relying on suppressing the capacity of certain parts of your population to vote to win an election, like my country's right wing government has done, because last minute enrollment voters tend to not vote for them.

You seem to be mistaken, the misanthropes are the owners of capital who want to leverage AI to get rid of pesky thinking meat.
This author apparently never saw a hype train he didn't want to get on.

Have we Unlocked Civilizational Hypercomplexity with Ethereum yet?

Feels like another cryptocurrency to AI pivoter. But hey, credit where credit's due, dude knows how to hustle.

But as soon as you play the game with them, they immediately devalue.

It's just gambling and a greater fool dependent market all over again.

And the 8 hour work day. And, for miners, being able to have their lunch break above ground.

You're going to have to provide some citations mate, because right now you sound like a conspiracist.
Re:Lula wins election after final votes tallied on Monday October 26, 2026 @01:39AM (#50239556)
Hell of an allegation to make with no evidence provided. How do "they" "have" the supreme court, and why does that mean that they're popular and win elections?
Re:Rewriting a Commercial Engine in Jai on Sunday October 25, 2026 @07:13AM (#50230407)
That's an imgur.com link mate, it's a rather well known image host. I don't run it. I'm surprised you're not aware of it.

Let me give you the full text of the message I got:

> 406 Not Acceptable

> Your browser is not supported. Please update your browser to continue.

My browser is fine, it's built off Chromium like many are, but apparently the UA makes your website say no. Your website should stop doing that, it's pointless.

> Less hate would be good too

My apologies, but I'm rather sick and tired of websites that impose arbitrary restrictions because I'm not using official Google Chrome.

There's absolutely no reason to do UA filtering in 2026.

And using a 406 response incorrectly and ostentatiously so, triggers my nerd rage. Read the RFC about what 406 means. It does not mean what you're using it for.

And I definitely do not need to update my browser.

I'm not sure why you thought it necessary to filter on UAs, but come on, it's the 2020s, it's not like the bad old days of "only renders in IE5 or Netscape 2.0".

If I have to fake my UA to read your webpage, that's just useless friction that negatively impacts your reach. I don't understand why you'd do this.

Re:Rewriting a Commercial Engine in Jai on Sunday October 25, 2026 @04:59AM (#50229582)
I got a 406 Not Acceptable because this website doesn't like my browser.

https://imgur.com/a/uF2CxfT

Which means this website doesn't even know how HTTP 4xx codes work (406 is about content negotiation) and is also being rather pathetically pedantic about user agents.

So, to you polygonjs.com, I say, 469 Go Fuck Yourself.

And where did you get those stats from?

A burger made in New Zealand likely has a different carbon footprint to a burger made in Switzerland which likely has a different carbon footprint to a burger made in Texas.

Planet of the Apes, coming soon to a research lab near you!
