If we steelman their argument for a second I think they aren't setting any bars. LLMs go from google search to Opus/Fable, and people praising/criticizing them are mostly using opposite ends.
Since it's a client app someone else could open-source it for them instead.
Why is the first thing after the "calmer internet" intro an ad to another app?
I love how someone's security disaster becomes someone else's feature.
> Would they be grating to them in the pre-LLM days?
No, same way "synergy" wasn't grating before every middle manager started saying it.
Kind of, not really, in this case it's a subscription that renews monthly/yearly so you have to remember to cancel it when your reach the amount you wanted to donate, maybe you didn't want to donate as much as 1 month costs so you're left not sending them any money in the end, right now you can't even subscribe cause their console 404's. You got to make it as easy as possible for people to part with their money, component library subscription is not it.
You answered "Why do you have a component library?" but I think the original question was more along the lines of "Why bother monetizing components that can be copyright-washed in minutes with LLMs instead of having a Donations funnel?"
It was in the beta channel from some time now being updated and refined, steam is constantly updating the beta channel and promotes updates to general channel every now and then.
Source? I thought Apple gated XAPPLEPUSHSERVICE so 3rd party accounts on the mail.app fallback to fetch/poll.
> why the hell would I sign up for a service that does what email/IMAP does in the first place?
I don't know nor use the app promoted by GP, but in general the problem with apple is that they don't support the standard email/IMAP push, and only some 3rd parties have approval to use the non-standard apple email push (Fastmail I think). So people have come up with ways to get around apple's arbitrary restrictions.
> REA still uses jadx MCP for Android reversing instead of my tool, which they've probably never even heard of. Here's my pitch:
Really?
Isn't that like saying that guns may be legal but later use of those guns may not be?
No, a cluster can server multiple users at the same time, providers cap the tok/s so that one cluster can run inference on multiple inputs at the same time. OpenAI with their new ultrafast mode is probably reserving the whole cluster or prioritizing requests of ultrafast users above others with a higher tok/s hence the high price and high speed. There's many other knobs providers tweak that they don't show the users, for example I doubt many providers are hosting the full FP16 version.
Blindly bright on my laptop on firefox as well
You answered "Why use MCP with your agent instead of using CLI manually?" but the more interesting question is "Why build an MCP when you could already point your agent to the CLI?". The user experience of "the agent will present those as nice choice menus I can decide schematically on" will probably be the same since agents are very adept at using cli tools and gathering required/optional arguments, examples, and warnings/errors to present you with useful choices on how to proceed.
> They're advertising GLM for free.
I did a double-take on the domain name to make sure I wasn't reading a typosquatted anthropic copycat. It was a glowing review too, I didn't know GLM 5.3 was that good at cyber.
Joke's on you, after the AI economic collapse in a few years $1000 will have the purchasing power of 50 cents of today's money.
n=1 here, I had a 2019 intel macbook for 6 years going through 5-6 major mac os versions and never had a process stuck the entire weekend, now I have a 2026 macbook and still no weird stuck process
Disney seems to be taking a very hands-off approach when it comes to government use, so I doubt they'll do anything about this police case.
I love how casually you're dropping this incredible piece of internet lore as if somebody asked you how's the weather.
> Some AC can go ridiculously low (

Did you just post a link to a 23 year old news article with no sources on an http-only site as supporting evidence that your airbnb unit's AC unit can go dangerously low?
You really think your guests will get frostbite if you don't do them the favor of limiting the AC temperature (with the unintended side-effect of saving you some money)?
Folks, your blog post sucks at marketing.
Edit: your marketing site actually has excellent marketing information.
Edit #2: They've since replaced the blog post with a link to the marketing page. Good reaction time.
This is almost reaching Kubrick’s joke about wanting to film the fake moon landing on location.
I don't have twitter or reddit either, I've just seen what people post online
If twitter and reddit have demonstrated anything is that the fun people are having with image generation is not healthy.
Some times it's okay to mean it.
Actually they are taking one from Anthropic's playbook and saying it's the user's fault for misunderstanding what "sharing" means.
