I used to write code with an LLM, but now I'm actively trying to switch to writing it by hand. Why?
The answer is simple: I've noticed that I'm getting dumber at programming.
But how do you think it does that?
At first glance, it seems like it's just reproducing code that was previously written by people.
I think this text also applies well to code written using an LLM.

I would really like to hear your thoughts on whether this is even possible, at least in theory. Even if it’s not possible, I’m curious to learn more and find out why.
If it is possible, what do I need to take into account? I’m looking forward to links to articles, guides, or documents that will help me understand how to implement this, or an explanation in simple terms.I’d love to hear your...
Is there anything that can be done about this? Please tell me if there’s a way to search and/or browse websites when the internet connection is terrible. Maybe there’s something like lazy loading, or using terminal utilities in Termux for searching—it seems to me that terminal utilities are less demanding when it comes to a “perfect connection” compared to Google Chrome?

I remember that back then (2017–2020), most websites loaded just fine, whether on 3G or EDGE — the only difference was the speed. As of today, even the search engine lite.duckduckgo.com/lite/ (in Google Chrome) barely works when searching on H and 3G mobile networks — not to mention EDGE. When I try to open a website on EDGE, the browser displays the message: DNS_PROBE_STARTED.
Thank you, just at the right time.
I liked your project; I think it has potential. If I have the time, I might try rewriting some parts in C, but since I don't have the testing hardware, I'll submit the changes to you via a fork.
What is the meaning of the game?
Thank you for your article; I enjoyed the way you explained everything, especially your ability to connect philosophy with neurobiology.
I agree about the freedom aspect. But the "4% Rule" in the form it’s usually presented—that’s just a form of masochism. It’s like starving yourself for three days just to gorge yourself on the fourth. Sure, you might be able to retire early, but you spent your youth grinding away those years.
It would be great to add units with missiles that would fire at long distances and air defense to shoot them down.

Now instead of Doom we prescribe Half-Life. Is it worth waiting for the new rule "Half-Life works everywhere"?
This is of course great, and very creative, but why not use an HTTP proxy if this TLS is still unprotected?
Did I misunderstand something?
Actually hfile has nothing new, So the basic philosophy here is a small binary.

Wow, this is impressive, everything is so realistic, it feels like I'm not in a browser but in a dark room with a PC where this game is running, I really liked it, it looks very nostalgic.
I think it's possible to add the ability to upload files somewhere, and the ability to create folders for additional files there.

Version 1.2 introduces two LZW backends (safe bounds-checked vs unsafe turbo), micro-cache for 30-40% faster decoding, three output formats (RGB888/RGB565LE/RGBA8888), span-based turbo blit, optional 256KB RGB565 map2 for 2-pixel-at-once rendering, proper disposal method 3 support, renderer API for indexed output, safety toggles to disable checks when you need raw speed, and prefix mode to...
It’s funny how we all complain about the noise and at the same time we’re all part of generating it.
Maybe that’s just the nature of fast-moving ecosystems.
This is seriously impressive — 6 BIPS by a single developer is insane.
The correctness-first approach and clean architecture really show.
But honestly, at this point, to make it truly useful, you probably just need to write your own OS next
Thanks for sharing this it’s inspiring to see what focused systems work can achieve.
How did you not burn out doing all this?
Honestly, in many systems projects it is often simpler and safer to minimize or even avoid malloc entirely: rely more on stack, static buffers, or simple arenas. This usually leads to fewer bugs and more predictable behavior than building complex lifetime systems on top of the heap.
