Hi all,I have created few days ago a landing page with LaunchRock for my new side project (http://cv-rocks.launchrock.com).Now what? What could be the best ways to advertise it in addition to the standard social sharing? And how do you think I might improve it?Thanks!

Hi all,I recently published my first Android game (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foogacy.chainy.free) and no one is downloading it. I really mean no one. 0 downloads excluding a couple of friends of mine. The game is very simple with an even simpler graphic (I am not really good at it!) but I do not think that's the issue as there are worst things out there. What can I do to...

Hi all,I have an idea for an app but I am not sure if something similar already exists or not (and if the whole idea makes sense). My idea is about an app for betting among friends. Base case scenario:- User A sends a bet proposal (ex: "Mercedes will win the next week F1 GP", "I am able to run for 20km", "Tonight I will drink 10 beers" etc.) to some of his contacts (let's say users B, C and D)...
Almost for sure it would be a case of the "blind leading the blind" and it would start with quantity over quality but might get better and provide a lot of inputs.

Hi everybody,In my quest for a business idea I was thinking to build a blog posting business ideas, discussing them, having the users proposing their ideas, sharing relevant articles and so on.What do you think? Might it be a good idea?
That's an interesting variation
Clearly I am not talking about moral satisfaction
I do not see either but you never know... stupid ideas like this sometimes have unexpected results
Thanks, I already know it. I was asking about a platform very specific for that, with no volunteering, charity, medical, startup fundraising etc. kind of things

Are there any specific websites for fundraising "personal dreams"?What I mean is fundraising of things like buying a house, a Ferrari, a boat, the perfect gaming PC etc. An online place where to get funds to make your dreams come true.Wouldn't that be an interesting startup idea and social experiment? What do you think?

Hello,I have been invited to hold a speech on programming languages for a local LUG event. What topic do you think I should talk about?
Thx everyone although the suggested tools seems more for testing automation.
What I need is something like Site24x7, Catchpoint etc. but with the ability to verify the JS validation on form fields.

Hi all,I am looking for some tools to automatically testing web forms.I specifically need to the the client side JS field validation and proper working, in addition to the final form submit.Any idea?
Yes of course. It is not a technical concept for sure.
I do not think so... It is just provocatory I think
It might be a simple concept but it also might drive the future of F1.
It is a very interesting concept
I am not sure how many "competitors" there are already
Of course it sounds interesting...
Do you think would work the concept that the platform would not be responsible for the files uploaded?
Thanks, I did not know about it!
Yes... that was actually my concern
A freemium model of course is needed if the whole thing should be successful. About filtering the content... well, that is an interesting topic... how Dropbox ant its competitors deal with that?
1. I agree with your points but they are not needed for a MVP. Unfortunately I was not thinking that the whole platform would be very similar to Reddit... I need to find some elements of differentiation.
3. Also in this case you are right but I was wondering about a situation where the first users try it with a very small amounts of money (few dollars), they see they are repaid, then word of mouth, more users, more money etc.

During the last days I have been wondering about few crazy side projects ideas and I would like to get your opinions about them:1. Streamy - The Voice Of Internet. A social network without the "social" and the "network". A user can post something and it is visible to everybody but not like Twitter where everybody has her own "stream" of tweets. There is just a single huge stream of posts. No...

Hi All,Yesterday I got an idea for a side project and I would like to ask your opinion about that. The plan would be to develop a website to share worldwide "non-private event reminders". For example: Nov 21st at 2pm China F1 GP, Jun 23rd at 9pm Metallica concert in NYC etc.As a user you can use the service in three ways:
- post a new reminder (event) that will be published
- subscribe to a...
