Alright, sir. For what it's worth, Godaddy Broker has contacted me in the past to buy this domain name for a client. The same Godaddy that has appraised it at $3,000+ USD. I declined at the time because I was still planning to use it. Furthermore, you would be surprised if you scrolled through the domain name broker sites (even the Godaddy one).
$200 will unfortunately not help me bootstrap anything. Your tone was rude, sir, not sharp. You are telling me what to do or not do with my own free time!
And let me quote your suggested price: "Fair price? $0." Yes: $0.
"Best approach? Let it expire and cease to spend time worrying about it. You can find better uses for your time."
That's not sharp, sir, that's rude and of no help. Thank you for taking the time to share your views sir.
Thanks for your insights, Sir. Many people are using "Printive" indeed (not only the folks at printive.net). I was surprised to see what people are willing to pay or have paid to secure some domain names while scrolling through the Godaddy broker site.
> If you can't even put the effort into writing a message then I'd suggest you let the domain expire
I can put the effort to answer the message, but his answer was of no help and quite frustrating, it was my way to let him know that! There's a reason I disclosed that it was AI generated (maybe not the best approach)!
I appreciate your input. I understand that Godaddy has an algorithm for evaluating domain names, and I'm willing to consider their appraisal price. Thank you
PS: What would you consider a fair price if you were in the printing industry ?
Hi there,
Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your insights into the domain name market.
I disagree with your assessment of the domain name market. I believe that there is a legitimate market for domain names, and that it is possible to sell domain names for a fair price. However, I agree that it can be difficult to find a buyer willing to pay a fair price, especially for domain names that are not in high demand.
I don't think it's fair to say that the domain name market is a "propaganda technique". There are legitimate businesses that buy and sell domain names (just like cars, oldtimer, etc... ), and there are people who make money from domain names. However, I do agree that it is important to be realistic about the market, and to not expect to make a lot of money from domain names.
I'm still considering my options for the domain name. I'm not sure if I'm going to let it expire or try to sell it. I'll keep your feedback in mind as I make my decision.
Thanks again for your input.
PS: This message was generated with the help of Google Bard.
I appreciate your insights. I hadn't considered the AML (anti-money-laundering) implications before, but I will keep that in mind moving forward. Thank you

Hi HNer,I have owned a premium domain name for over 12 years. I purchased it 12 years ago for a printing on-demand project, but that project has been indefinitely postponed.I need cash flow to bootstrap another project, so I'm looking for the best way to sell this domain name for a fair price. Godaddy has appraised it at over $3,000, but that seems low to me. I could wait until I'm ready to...
This sounds great, I would live to pick your brain in a couple of emails, is there anyway to connect with you? I couldn't find your email in your profile. Thanks
Like spystath menrionned, all journals have an RSS Feeds stream or more, so I use RSS Feeds with my webapplication
https://www.feedsapi.org/ to receive curated alerts in realtime (many of our users have this as use-case as well).
You can also use the rss feeds with a service like IFTTT or Zapier to set up an alert system.
You should add RSS, it's one of the most passive ways ro share your content and gain new inbound traffic, you users will thank you, all prominents news web/mobile applications make use of rss to distribute their content and get new inbound traffic.
Oh well, I heard you and you should check what we do. It looks like this:
http://www.feedsapi.com will make your life with RSS nicer and should improve your user experience with RSS. Here are some of the things you can do: Turn those shortened rss feeds into full Text rss feeds, curate your feeds with keywords tomonly get what you really care about, curate your feeds with a more complex filter structure using RegEx, get your feeds items to be delivered everywhere in any format (htmk, txt, pdf, word...) and in full lenght ! 50 sites is a lot... And you may not need to read all of those feeds items so curation makes sense in this specific case.
I hope this helps.
Sure, check out
http://www.feedsapi.com , it's probably the best replacement at this point, iit's however not a 1 to 1 replacement.
Shameless relevant plug:
http://www.feedsapi.com might be an option, it'sit's not exactly a replacementbfor pipes but it does a lot of what pipes did and is a work in progress
This is exactly what we are doing at
http://www.feedsapi.com , we don't use a graphical UI for the logic but keywords and RegEx to create filters... Many folks are already building their own techmeme with our API, it's however not a free service. I'm not sure if this fully fits your requirements but you should take a look.
Thanks a bunch for your help Do , we're using strategy (B) + "30 Day Money Back Guarantee" and I was wondering if a "60 Day free trial" (from 14 Day Free Trial) would bring some change but it seems like I should look for something else to optimize, I'm trying to hit a conversion rate of 5% for site visitors (targeted traffic) .
I use both right now, 14 Day free trial and "30 Day Money Back Guarantee", I'm looking for a way to increase my "Visitors to Trial" conversion rate, it's below 5% at the moment and I'd love to bring it to 5%+ . I think I can keep myTrial to Paid signups conversion rate high, so the first place to optimize is the number of people signing up for the trial the trial.
Thanks a bunch for the link, that's a great reading.

We are using a 14 day free trial for our SaaS but I was wondering if a 60 Day free trial would be more appropriate to boost our numbers after reading about a couple of BigCorp doing this (Google). Can share your thoughts ?
I've been looking for something like this for weeks, no luck till now, I guess I should have searched for internationalization instead of localization in this specific case on google and github. This is a great starting point, thanks a bunch for sharing. Perfect for me.
A Baremetrics for Paypal , a service showing me all my KPI using the Paypal API on a nice dashboard so, I don't have to fiddle around with spreadsheets.
Yep, looks interesting. Will give it a try (added myself for the beta test), are you affiliate with them ? Thanks for the head up.
Baremetrics for PayPal would be great.
https://www.feedsapi.org/It's an all-in-one realtime monitoring and curation SaaS. Here are some of the cool things you can do with it:
* Turn shortened RSS feeds to Full Text RSS Feeds
* Curate feeds based on Keywords and ReGex
* Convert RSS to JSON on the fly and via an API
* Push RSS News alerts to any emaik inbox in real-time and a couple of other cool things.
