We joke that I choose our current house for the walk-in pantry and large kitchen. What's the point of an home if you can't cook in it? That would be so sad, may as well sleep in a dorm.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of grocery stores buying in bulk for our family if the option was available, and have easy to compost packages so I wouldn't have to throw them in the trash. Those improvement could happen even if people cooked at home.

I've been looking for other blogs by other women out of curiosity, even if gender is not really important for a programming blog.

I occasionally blog too, you can check out at http://blog.cindypotvin.com/

Another good place to start would be OpenCV, a library for computer vision. It'll come in handy if you wish to build robots that are aware of their environment.

I knit! Learning great new things and getting handknits out of it is pretty interesting. Once you get decent skills, you can knit without thinking too much about it but it keeps your hands busy.
