Why is the Twitter CEO interviewing Snowden? People need to let this guy fade into the background of history. When users sign up or use services, such as Facebook and Google, they agree to the privacy terms. User control is in the action of not using those services. This is a ridiculous article.
Re:Google says it will run entirely on renewable energy in 2017 on Wednesday December 07, 2016 @09:45AM (#13122849)
"means other companies of a similar scale will feel pressure to move" - Not sure if that pressure is real, especially with a new president not really committed to renewable and sustainable energy adoption.
Re:When oil is no longer in demand on Thursday December 01, 2016 @09:47AM (#13079632)
This discussion should really come to the forefront of the energy conversation in the US with the Trump presidency. His commitment to ramping up oil production and reversing all of the initiatives to increase investment in alternative, sustainable energy resources will hurt the US' progress towards relying less on fossil fuels which are not sustainable. His motivations are obviously to prioritize the big oil companies making money.
Re:These States Allow Schools to Hit Students on Thursday December 01, 2016 @09:31AM (#13079524)

Re:U.S. To Forgive at Least $108B in Student Debt in Coming Years on Wednesday November 30, 2016 @08:57AM (#13070671)
Having a reasonable discussion about student loans with an age group that attended college 20-30 years ago isn't reasonable. The costs increased exponentially compared to what it was. The reasonable solution is to educate high school students on the affordable options of in-state universities and community college.
