Perhaps, but if there’s ever been a time to consider something that sounds hyperbolic, that time is now. The ramifications of what AI might based on events up until now are concerning.

You might want to check your link - it’s a template site.
Can survive weeks, months and even years??

That’s a little horrifying.

I’m struggling to even leave the ghost pen on iOS.

The Starfox explosions lack a realistic brightness level. They don’t appear to be emitting light the way the Playstation’s explosions do. Even the afterburner effect on Starfox’s ship looks muted.

Wasn’t that Mark Zuckerberg?

Hell, I’d go straight for Beyond Dark Castle… it really took the series to a whole different level.
You might want to check your file names for errors.
Is anyone out there using Unreal for in-camera character/creature animation? My production experience with Unreal has been solely limited to background and lighting support, for which it is excellent.

This would have set off the spidey sensors with me.

Didn’t Jurassic Park have a similar interface running on the workstations?
Pink News is often not a reliable source; they’re prone to hyperbole.

Try reloading the page, it didn’t work for me either the first time.
Re:The weird afterlife of Xbox Kinect on Monday March 03, 2025 @01:45PM (#43245229)
I worked on the VFX of a movie in 2012 where we actually used a Kinect as a cheap Lidar replacement for mapping set geometry. Such a useful little device.

Goodness, this guy certainly seems to think highly of himself!
…And it’s horribly ugly to boot.
Are they magically reverting to Windows NT 4.0 for this build?
It’s still early days…

I don’t understand why the terms of “purchasing” digital content can’t specify a way to access content in the event that a vendor has to stop offering it.

Surely if the content creator is offering it for sale, it should be illegal to disallow use of it after being purchased.

This is one of them that I remember from 2016:

https://www.theguardian.com/media-network/2016/dec/02/battle...

I don’t see how even Facebook could have an issue with “telegram” being used commercially, but I wouldn’t be totally surprised if they did.

Or Better Off Ted. The episode about racially insensitive security cameras is comedy gold.
Re:LogoScale – A method for vectorizing small, crappy logos on Saturday September 09, 2023 @07:46AM (#37444280)
I was excited for this as well, but it’s understandable because even the best raster -> vector conversion apps usually need a fair bit of cleanup.
Awesome.

Now do America.

Sounds a bit like Okja!
Dear lord, Atari… just hang it up already.
Re:Stanford's “Elimination of Harmful Language” Initiative on Tuesday December 20, 2022 @05:33AM (#34064045)
> Probably what you should take away from this is not “wokism gone crazy”

Perhaps not, but every year this rhetoric grows more and more aggressive - and thanks to social media - is now leaking into our everyday vernacular.

At what point do we say “this is enough” rather than hand-waving it away as yet another excess of academia?

> VSCode is one of the greatest pieces of engineering of our time

I feel this is a slight overestimation of VSCode’s design.
