Ask HN: What's an up-and-coming field to work in?

What's an area that looks promising in the upcoming decade.(like mobile apps in the last decade, or YouTube/content creation in this decade) I'm seeking an area with a decent producers to users ratio. The whole blockchain/web3 space feels overwhelming.

I think you mean The Book of Legendary Lands by Umberto Eco. Encyclopedia of Imaginary places is a different book by Theresa Bane.
