I like how this is laid out. Will have to give it a try.
I thought the Hyrule Warriors games were not canon. Did I get that wrong?
I love Physical Review Letters. I'm no longer in the field and have no appetite to go through 8-12 page papers.
I hate this “do anything for clout” culture.

This looks neat. How is this different from Jetbrains Air?

What a beautiful tribute.

I never understood the product strategy here. It always felt like “PyCharm, but for notebooks” without a clear reason for existing as a separate product.
Re:Ti-84 Evo on Friday May 01, 2026 @05:24PM (#47980554)
You will have to pry my TI-89 from my cold dead hands. I wish they still made it
Caveman made me laugh and that, in theory, should count for something.
Re:Zed is 1.0 on Wednesday April 29, 2026 @10:46AM (#47949180)
Bravo! I've enjoyed using Zed and seeing its progress. Still waiting on python notebook support.
I am incredibly saddened that the inevitable finally happened. The OG 5,1 cheese grater sparked so much joy. I added and expanded so much over the years before I finally donated it to a computer museum and moved on to Apple Silicon. I did everything from scientific computing, ripping movies, serving files, running websites, and everything in between.
Re:Drugwars for the TI-82/83/83 Calculators on Thursday March 19, 2026 @09:20PM (#47449104)
The amount of classroom time I wasted playing this game…
This has been such a breath of fresh air. It was seamless to drop into my projects.
I am always surprised at how quick Claude will ask to run git filter-branch vs doing the same operation safely via an extra command or two.
The Loupedeck S. Its been nothing but a pain. Should have gotten a Stream Deck
Re:Show HN: I made you a Christmas present on Thursday December 25, 2025 @11:49AM (#46385503)
I lost a family member yesterday and I have not been well. This brought me out of the darkness for a spell. Thank you kind stranger. May your days be blessed

Re:Will West Coast Jazz Get Some Respect? on Saturday December 13, 2025 @11:20AM (#46255655)
When I think of west coast jazz, I think of Tom Scott and I was surprised to not see him in this article.
For me, the needles suck. The sensors can go bad and can give false readings — so you still need to prick your finger. It’s better than flying blind but I’m hoping for a non invasive option
Will you consider a plugin for Pycharm?
This is amazing! It does everything but make the jollof.

Was this just a dark pattern or did they flat out hide the classic option?

Did I miss the memo where we repealed ∇·B = 0?
Re:The importance of counter-clockwise dance rituals on Monday August 25, 2025 @01:16PM (#45016216)
I'm impressed the author took the time to mention the ring shout. But they lose points for referring to the continent of Africa like it was a country, and missing the opportunity to go a bit deeper on its importance in Western African cultures.
Re:James Baldwin's Apotheosis on Saturday August 16, 2025 @04:36PM (#44926715)
Baldwin didn’t play identity politics. He rewrote the rules of identity itself.
Re:U.S. fires statistics chief after soft jobs report on Friday August 01, 2025 @09:35PM (#44764233)
We as a country are so unserious. I just can't anymore.
