Reminds me of Tool's reaction to that trend, "Hooker with a Penis"

Like the idea, but can't drag any element. Managed to build a lobby by double tapping. Elevator apparently needs to be dragged so I'm stuck. On Android & Waterfox.

Very cool, but the images are too pixelated. Project Gutenberg to the rescue:

The US distilled this from the Russian model.
Much nicer than my usual zoom & pan routine, love it. Hope this gets widely adopted.
Do you happen to remember the channel name or have a link? Would love to see some OG service videos.
Natural science illustration returns reasonable results. I think most are done traditionally in some type of watercolors.

Add the following line to ublock origin in "My filters" & make sure the "Enable my custom filters" option box is checked to get around this:

From the newest releases page I stumbled into "Some Nigerian fertility cults" by Percy Amaury Talbot & am enjoying it so far.

Anyone who saw Night of the Living Dead knows this won't end well.

Vector Pinball is a must have.
For the lazy it basically means as embryos our anus forms before our mouths do. So we have to talk out our asses before we even leave the womb!
Forget cones of shame, what we need are cones of silence.

Re:Why Are There So Many Rationalist Cults? on Wednesday August 13, 2025 @07:24AM (#44887111)
Which sects of Buddhism? Just curious to read further about them.
Thanks, that helped.
Mind boggling. Wish they included images of the scale compared to our sun, solar system, galaxy etc to help me wrap my head around this beast.
Re:1910: The year the modern world lost its mind on Monday August 11, 2025 @12:29PM (#44866142)
I vaguely remember reading somewhere about people seeing warriors on horseback for the first time calling them four legged demons or some such thing. I wonder what it would take to elicit that type of panicked response today?

Even if the ruling class was high off their tits on whatever substance probably had little to do with anything. Most likely the drug that had the most influence was, and still is, the lust for power.

Extremely fanatic soccer "fans", aka hooligans. Basically just an excuse to be antisocial.
Re:Fight Chat Control on Monday August 11, 2025 @08:22AM (#44863377)
I think it's more apathy than an actual desire for more mass surveillance. People don't care until they are directly, negatively affected. Same as it ever was.
Re:Google paid a $250K reward for a bug on Monday August 11, 2025 @08:02AM (#44863244)
Can usually report anonymously so this shouldn't be an issue. If there's no mechanism for that then yeah I'd consider keeping my mouth shut if it doesn't involve me directly (like the body is in my home somehow).
Re:Basic Social Skills Guide on Monday August 11, 2025 @07:41AM (#44863109)
The problem with this is when the convo goes beyond the initial common phrase. The response is likely to go more in depth. Then you're stuck nodding awkwardly, laughing awkwardly or just fudging it further... Awkwardly. Personally if it's a sport I'm not into I'll just admit that and explain why. The conversation will usually naturally move on and you won't seem phony.
