This is interesting, I used to take Methylphenidate twice daily (Ritalin LA) but stopped due to increasing side effects. A few years back I was able to switch to Lisdexamphetamine. I realized that one tablet a day was not enough for me, even upping my dose didn't help; it didn't last longer than 6 hours for me..

I think unfortunately that some of the marketing material and advertised duration by Shire isn't telling the whole story w/r/t the drugs duration.

Is it healthy for me to basically have amphetamine in my body 24/7? Probably not, but it has certainly helped me the 5 or so years I've been taking them.

I can be a bit more strict &straight to the point now than before, but I don't find myself behaving very differently now vs before. I'm on the autistic spectrum for sure, and with ADHD as well it's hard to judge if it's just me or the medication.

Lastly, if I had gotten the opportunity to take medication to help the symptoms earlier I probably would have had a better education and been better off than I am today. Way too much time at school was wasted just looking out the window and doing other things rather than paying attention, and yes it wasn't becuase I wasn't interested per se, it's just that putting effort into focusing short term in order to get the gratified response of a good education (years later) is not something someone with ADHD can easily do.

I do this at work, even with newer developers, although I try give them more slack and time to adapt to our commit & PR style. Do I need to pick on minor formatting issues or a spelling mistake? Do I want to? No. My concern is that the long term cost of maintaining and fixing this when it was actually cought in PR.

So whenever someone nitpicks on my code it's usually for the better, i.e changing a method name.

It also now has Vim keybindings, it's a bit hidden in the menu but makes a big difference using it.

I'm far from an expert in this field but rain scatter is definitely a thing on all GHz bands. It's more of a problem (or a way of propagation depending on how you see it) with 5GHz and up. Climate and the size of the droplets also matter as the wavelength changes.

Presumably there would be forward scatter and back scatter to deal with I don't see how you could avoid that.

Furthermore, comments about beamforming and that it uses a phased array isn't surprising with regards to the application but you will still have sidelobes, even with a very tight beamwidth / high gain.

And then you have path loss etc, I have no idea how this would actually work - it sounds unfeasible on many fronts.

I can recommend Wasavi, which is a browser extension that allows you to use Vim commands in most text windows you can edit. https://github.com/akahuku/wasavi I use it on a daily basis and although it's not Vim it's still pretty good.

This is my experience as well. Moving over to their new editor has left the markdown support in limbo between different views. I.e it varies between the view when creating an issue, editing an issue and commenting on an issue.. It's really infuriating. I asked them about it on Twitter and it's apparently a work in progress?
