I thought it was 2032. I use IoT LTSC as well and I can second that this is a great OS and everything runs without issue.
I would add that I've also used Windows 11 IoT LTSC and that experience is very similar to Windows 10 IoT LTSC.
I love the Acorn story and British computing in general. BBC made a good movie on the subject called Micro Men. Definitely worth a watch despite some inaccuracies. Note that Sophie Wilson was previously known as Roger Wilson and has a cameo at the end of the film.
Oh man, I did the same thing and very much regret it. It's like I gave away a important part of my childhood. When I have the time I'll buy another one and probably just fiddle around with it. Play all the old games I used to like too I guess.
Does anyone know if this would include plastic lids on glass containers? or a plastic cover to stop whatever you're heating from splashing all over the microwave?
/e/os has been absolutely consistant, no issues for my use. Having said that I really only use the phone for basic functions.
yes it is /e/os getting updated but it is still android and I thought that most people here would be up for changing between the flavors rather than just sticking with the original.
I don't stay with the original OS on my PC why would I do the same with my phone. If my original PC OS stops getting updates I change to a newer one. I figured most here would be used to that.
Uber, that I can remember. Didn't like the micro g aspect, but I hear that may have changed. Also banking apps but I don't use those myself.
Must say I'm a little surprised with many of the comments from a tech focused site/forum like this one. I find that Android is a far more open system with a great community that rewards the inner hacker (no matter how much of a novice they may be).
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4, it is still a very usuable phone and is running a modern android version and gets regular updates. Sure it is a bit slow and I had to flash a custom rom (/e/os) but that is not hard to do.
This phone is now almost 10 years old, but still gets updates and can run most apps. I don't think this can be done with an iphone.

I think it's wrong to assume its just speculation. Lebanon is a troubled country, and if I've heard correctly their local currency is inflating. So they could just be trying to protect their savings (earned from their labor in many cases no doubt) from being devalued. Perhaps they also want it protected by government confiscation. The might also just keep their funds in USD stable coins (tether is not the only one).
This sounds like a regulation and education problem to me.
early detection doesn't have to mean treatment, it could just be monitoring and change of lifestyle.
Does anyone know which tests are availabe today excluding CT scans. For men (which is relevant to me) I know of:
Prostate,
Skin,
Colon
Sounds to me like the issues with this early detection is more of a regulation and education problem then. That could be fixed.
I don't see why early detection means early treatment. What if after detected, the illness is monitored instead. If it then gets to a point where the treatment is no longer considered risky for the stage of the illness, then the treatment can proceed.
It would also give the person the opportunity to change lifestyle to perhaps prolong the time that the illness will become a problem, or perhaps halt its progress altogether.
Additionally, the person who is aware of such illness, can keep an eye out for symptoms related to it, that might otherwise be ignored as something else. At which point normal cancer treatment can progress.
Just did a quick search for 'epson hx-20' and this site popped up.
https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/
not really relatated at all to my search, but I'm very glad to find it. A beutiful looking site indeed. This is the kind of stuff I remember doing back in the 90s, you'd search for something then something more random would show up but often be interesting to check out.

I use mailbox.org. They offer encryption and I believe have a focus on privacy. best part is 1 euro a month, but that is for their basic package which I think should be enough for most people.
Edit: I only use 1 email account with them though, don't know how they go for multiple.
I only just finished playing the original Colonization last month (I play it about once a year). I love the civilisation series but for some reason I probably enjoy Colonization better, I guess it is the town management and production/trade aspect.
Anyway, I hadn't heard about FreeCol before and it looks to be a very good effort. I'll definitely take a look at it, but, I find nostalgia usually gets the best of me and none of these remakes ever seem to scratch the itch like the originals.

Too bad that you threw out. Those Trinitrons are still sort after for retro gaming. You could of sold it or given it away.
In reply to nl. Actual inflation is the expansion of the money supply and there has been a vast expansion in it since 2008.
Where that extra money supply ends up going, is where the inflation is.
The inflation has been in speculative assets. This happened because the expansion of the money supply did not go to the people. In addition, there is debate about how accurate the inflation figures are. Some alternative measures are far higher.

This is pretty cool and I wish it was actually real.
There are however some other projects out there doing this. See http://mega65.org/
They have a handheld, doesn't look as nice as these drawings though.
The Mega65 system, replica of the commodore 65 is awesome though. It is compatible with c64 c65 and their new system Mega65.
Hi all, I have no affiliation with this project but as someone who grew up on Commodores, both the C64 and Amiga, I find this to be a very interesting concept.
It has been in development for some time now and the team behind it seems very passionate and dedicated. They do however have a major hurdle to overcome and that is the cost to purchase the moulds to make the case. They are hoping to fund this cost with donations, I don't know if they'll get there, but, I hoping they do.
