Why didn't you build your own blog out of javscript instead of publishing medium?

Re:John Resig annotates original jQuery source code on Tuesday April 07, 2015 @09:30PM (#9338288)
genius is based in New York I think, and so is John Resig (at least at lot of the time, he attends JS meetups in New York). He's probably doing them a favor, although the founders of genius are rather obnoxious and John's just the opposite, so it's not whom I'd expect him to help out. Maybe he's going for funding from Horowitz, who also funds genius
Is that posher or just more old fashioned? Serious question.
Hahahah

Regardless of career prospects title should have been "where do old devs go to die?"
Re:FTP Server at LSUHealth New Orleans on Sunday August 31, 2014 @10:01AM (#8249298)
It is dangerous to report bugs

A student in Montreal was expelled after informing the college where he studied that there was a security flaw http://business.financialpost.com/2013/07/17/montreal-studen...

Re:Edward Snowden: The Untold Story on Wednesday August 13, 2014 @08:38AM (#8172554)
"Among other things, I want to answer a burning question: What drove Snowden to leak hundreds of thousands of top-secret documents, revelations that have laid bare the vast scope of the government's domestic surveillance programs?"

if the article presents a different answer than what's already known, through snowden statements communicated to laura poitras and greenwald, then they're probably not true, and if it repeats the same stuff, this is obviously a stupid question to ask and the article's just marketing b.s.

Of course he's only 20. We'd have it no other way.

What's Sarah's last name. How do we know she's not a fiction?
Funny timing

How to get on the government watchlist? How to get followed on Twitter by @the_intercept?

there was a story about the latter posted on Hacker news earlier today https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=8075384 )

Re:Ember.js: Going back to school with Ember.js on Tuesday September 03, 2013 @10:19AM (#6321100)
It does seem like any app that could be made with Ember could also be made with Backbone. So, yes, why use a 20,000 line library when you could get away with 800.
Re:Trademark problem? splice.tv and splice.com on Sunday August 25, 2013 @06:09PM (#6273945)

it's time to start betraying your users by making subtle but significant changes to the terms of service in preparation for exploiting their personal info for financial gain
I have so many tools at my disposal but have only a fraction of your talent and perseverance...Great job!
