So DownDetector is down, but DownDetectorDownDetector does not detect it... We probably need one more DownDetector. (no)

Notion is also down as a result
Re:Cloudflare Global Network experiencing issues on Tuesday November 18, 2025 @06:54AM (#45964030)
Indeed, it worked for 2 minutes, but not anymore.

OK, it seems to be working again.
Bonus question: what API or software are people using for diarization? (On top of transcription)
Congratulations for the launch!

You said that Chonkie works with multiple vector stores. I was wondering what RAG database HN uses? Do you need a specialized one (like Chroma) or is Postgres just fine?

Yes especially since Vanta is an already well known company.

If you attend a lot of meetings, having an AI note-taker take notes for you and generate a structured summary, follow-up email, to-do list, and more will be an absolute game changer.

(Disclaimer, I'm the CTO of Leexi, an AI note-taker)

I am the CTO of https://www.leexi.ai/ which is powered by a Rails API (Vue/Nuxt in the frontend).

I chose Rails 3 years ago when I started coding it at night because it was the stack I knew best. And I don't regret it, quite the opposite.

We now have thousands of customers using it daily and it has been nothing but a joy to create and maintain this app.

Re:WXT: Next-Gen Web Extension Framework on Thursday December 12, 2024 @02:44AM (#42397110)
WXT is heavily inspired by Nuxt (with emphasis on DX) and we gladly use both at my company.
Re:Show HN: Non SaaS – Directory of Non SaaS Apps on Thursday August 01, 2024 @06:19AM (#41127666)
Great marketing strategy since the creator of this website is also the creator of several of these "non-SaaS".
Re:Heroku Postgres is now based on AWS Aurora on Friday May 31, 2024 @05:31PM (#40540492)
For a lot of use cases, nothing beats « git push » and tada your app is deployed.
I have a question: Is something like Magika enough to check if a file is malicious or not?

Example: users can upload PNG file (and only PNG is accepted). If Malika detects that the file is a PNG, does this mean the file is clean?

Re:How does Sidekiq really work? on Monday February 05, 2024 @01:39PM (#39265039)
I chose to build our backend in Ruby (front end in Vuejs) 2 years ago when I started leexi.ai because I wanted to have a quick MVP on the market and we sticked with it because it's so good for what it does!

Rails, Sidekiq, Postgres, Redis, boring technologies powering thousands of customers.

Re:Tell HN: There is a new highlights page on HN on Monday September 25, 2023 @02:34AM (#37640277)
Is there a place where HN publishes some sort of changelog?
