Can't change the zoom on the page, what terrible UX.

How often developers encounter performance issues coming from the slow framework, so they need to switch to a fast one? Which one is the slow?
> Avoid using more complicated markup languages like HTML in the README file, however, because it should be convenient to read on a text-only terminal
And that's what README.md files from these days hardly can follow on Github.
The only cookie I would accept that I don't accept any other cookies.
But if you already have it in your favorite language, why would you need to translate it to bash or jq? :)
What happened with the "above the fold" rule, that we put important info where the user don't need to scroll.
I clicked through some of them and I only see huge titles with parallax.
I guess it's the same in most of languages.
If you raise a general exception with a custom message you'll have to check the message not it's type.
This whole "I accept these cookies" is broken from the beginning. First of all, why they want to use any of those cookies which are not needed? Use a session cookie, so I can be logged in and I can access to the data and page, but the others are nonsense.
Also, I would accept one cookie, which stores that I don't accept other cookies.
I like the idea of using channels.
Maybe it would be good to be able to pass a context for the store, so the loop stops when the context cancelled.
Firefox 1(?) already had the error console, which told the _correct line_ where the error happened with more meaningful messages. Unlike IE where the message was something like `Unknown error at line 10203` when you had only a big HTML table and some inline JS.
That was already a big improvement, but then Firebug was another dimension.
A HTML, JavaScript, CSS question. How hard is that?

https://ajnasz.huA personal blog mostly in Hungarian, lately some English posts which is far from perfect, but some might find useful if a search engine honor the site.
It's 16 years old, started with drupal, then some years ago I changed to metalsmith [1], because the content isn't dynamic at all, and it was fun to try something new.
I also started to move to hugo, but they didn't merge the pr [2] which would have helped in the transition. :(
The look is still similar to what it was in the beginning, in terms of colors at least.

> 4.2.2 Idiomatic err variable capture.
I'm trying to reproduce that in this play: https://go.dev/play/p/3wkkfN3bMfH
Based on the study, I expect that the final print would print `err final value err:bar, 2`, but it's `<nil>`.
And it is because it uses the shorthand variable declaration, which will make it to be in the scope of the go function closure.
Am I missing something?
Usually I don't accept cookies. Sometimes it's not that hard, but sometimes you would need to click through like hundreds(!) of checkboxes, so you don't want the cookie from them, which is ridiculous.
I would accept only one cookie, that I don't want to accept any other cookie, but surprisingly usually they don't store this information. :(
It's web based, not vim based, isn't it?
What is it good for? Why would you want to execute shell commands from JavaScript. If you already know the command, then why don't you just use the shell?
Or why don't you just use JavaScript libraries/frameworks/whatevers if you can't make a shell script work but you know JavaScript?
Some years ago Slack advertised itself as a tool to replace e-mail too..
Still no tail call optimization? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, it's so awesome when colleagues writing lots of useless stuff into the code so they IDE can show some fancy popups here and there.
