i believe that primary issue of electron is also that the framework consumes RAM/resources which is already a issue especially for windows which is a heavy OS on the RAM. the same side is visible on the Linux speciapic app ends of applications like VS code. they have poor integration , Loads of resource consumption and minimal polish

ScreenGuard was a personal project that i built during a summer break some time in mid June after i tried out multiple apps like activity watch and stayfree but they lacked what i wanted.

A One Stop applicationfor all digital wellbeing like Android has one instead of different software for the same purposes.

Thus i made a project for myself which could set focusmode, daily app limit and obviously check screen-time.

With support from my users , the project has come this far . thanks to all!

I am on an Android 10 system... gate keeping wasn't this bad during the Android 10 times...so i fairly use software stores like f-droid... simpmusic is one app I use frequently from f droid....no application so far has been deleted automatically. I guess Google has been upping the gatekeeping with newer systems as they come out

The project seems to be a great initiative however does it have checkpoints? I find that feature a must with agentic workflow for very obvious reasons.
