You can just unfollow people that engage in extreme language on Twitter, you won’t run out of people

I love this newsletter! https://www.boteatbrain.com/ it's written in a very accessible style

I tried it and it knows my username (same as my username here). I haven't decided how I feel about that.
Re:Twitter set to accept Musk's $43B offer – sources on Monday April 25, 2022 @09:42AM (#31154533)
Totally agree. It's incredibly easy for me to simply filter out ppl who rage-bait. I am more internet-native than most though? Maybe it's harder for the general populace than I might otherwise assume?

Re:Sweden sends just 1% of its trash to landfills on Friday April 08, 2022 @10:14AM (#30956996)
3% of New England ISO's energy resource mix is refuse burning, about the same as wind and more than solar. https://www.iso-ne.com/about/key-stats/resource-mix/ .

Only .4% is landfill gas.

Hey sentdex this is absolutely awesome! Playing with exotic target types like generating games is IMO where the fun is in ml :)

Do you see yourself taking this train of play further?

DataRobot | Automated Machine Learning Company | Boston, MA, Columbus, OH or REMOTE | Visa Sponsor Opportunity | Senior K8s Engineer | https://www.datarobot.com/careers/job/3181648/?gh_jid=318164...

DataRobot is the leading end-to-end enterprise AI platform, taking customers from data ingest all the way to automated, monitored decisions. We are trying to deduplicate the work that Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and MLOps people do every day, and dumb it down so that it can all be controlled with a UI. My team is leading the effort to allow users to augment our generated pipelines to better fit their data. To do that, we have developed a secure platform built on Kubernetes to run these algorithms. However, we need somebody who knows how to make this platform more secure, more performant, and rock-solid. If security and performance for arbitrary customer code is your forte, or you'd like it to be and you've done lots of DevOps and Kubernetes work in the past, come join me.

You can email [email protected] (me) or just drop your resume at the link above, and it will be routed to me that way too.

We're accepting applicants in timezones between UTC+6 thru UTC to UTC-7

I know this is not directly relevant to this article, but I have a story about AI Dungeon.

I loaded it up with my (female) roommate a few months ago during the dark of the pandemic, and long story short, what ended up happening was this.

Our character had a AI man approach the door of their house with magic "love potion" berries. We tried to get our character to not eat the berries, but the AI "tricked us" into eating them. Then, no matter what choice we made, we had no way out. The AI forced us into a bedroom and raped our character.

We closed the laptop and haven't brought this up again.

I'd pay for a guide to setting up pycharm mouseless :)

You may want to nod to RSS on your website, explaining what your API provides over it.
Re:Ask HN: What are you working on? on Thursday January 14, 2021 @07:35PM (#25785271)
The guy who invented the Elo system was actually named Elo, it's not an acronym.
Re:Show HN: A new way to share and collaborate on links on Wednesday December 30, 2020 @07:27AM (#25581085)
This is a good idea, and I might use it for work. It would be cool to allow commenting on links as well
Re:Bitcoin Hits New All-Time High on Wednesday December 16, 2020 @09:25AM (#25442804)
Ah great, another round of feeling bad as Ponzi Schemes as a Service makes people rich.
This is only true at FAANG, guys, stop working at FAANG its not doing the world very much good and there are tons of companies around looking to hire you that are. The future is starting now and FAANG engineers won't be a part of it.
Re:Using Anki to remember what you read on Thursday March 05, 2020 @12:02PM (#22495439)
Am I the only one who can't stand cloze deletion? When I use it I just end up with memorizing the words around the deletion and pattern matching the middle.
Why isn't the obvious answer to do this change? https://github.com/pypa/packaging.python.org/issues/564#issu...
1. Cost to produce devices 2. Assumes perfect processing rate 3. That seems like quite a lot of air. For reference, a 52 in ceiling fan does 2.8 , and you're talking about pushing air through some type of filter probably
You link to the German versions of your website. I don't know German. You don't talk about your development practices or team experience. Your industry isn't shiny. You don't list salary. Incidentally, I was just talking to the guy who posts for a Boston manufacturing startup who says they have hired many solid engineers from here

It makes me so happy that the three parents to this comment all have the stories posted online for free, with the authors permission. There's definitely a correlation with this strain of hard science fiction.
