I use Cloud Sites as well, and it is great for small "code it and load it" projects such as proof of concept sites, or blogs. No SSH or SCP makes version control and deployment tricky.

As a LAMP-only guy, I haven't used this feature, but you can run Linux and Windows from the same directory, which is pretty cool.
