He basically said the same thing Bill Gates did, that the poor today are better off than the poor yesterday, but he also said that the gap between the rich and the poor would grow. Which is indisputable and probably his wildest claim, given that up to that point in US history, growing upper-class wealth saw a proportional lower- and middle-class growth as well.
