Why not use and extend the id/ [0] namespace ?

"we looked into "id/", but for various reasons decided to go with an entirely new namespace. "id/" has been subject to a lot of name squatting, and we believe that by starting anew, we can provide a better experience for users."

By namesquatting names yourself? I'm getting the "This OneName username is reserved for..." message too.
