does a TV not connected to any way to receive a broadcast count as a working television? I have this 30" Samsung LCD TV that's connected to a Mac Mini running Vista Media Center which I'm using to watch stuff I got from online sources.

The tuner in the TV is never used and actually would not work as it's not connected to any source.
