Ask people who have money and problems what their problems are. Solve their problems. Charge money for it.

Or, failing that, you could probably create a Web 2.0 Twitter-integrated mashup of social network aggregators.

Charging people directly is definitely a growing niche, but I do believe it's still a niche and likely to remain one.

There's far more money to be had in advertising than directly, so don't ignore it ;)
